When it comes catching some rest, the second-floor occupies a sumptuous king-size bedroom with Smart TV, so you can continue your favourite series to bed, while the en-suite shower room offers a sleek space to prepare for the day.

Mevagissey is a lively village with a characterful atmosphere, here you can stroll the narrow streets and winding alleys, popping in and out of independent shops in search for a souvenir, or stroll down to the harbour where you can enjoy seafood cuisine whilst watching boats bob with the tide.

Brush up on local history with a visit to the Folk Museum, or even visit The World of Model Railways Exhibtion which is home to an impressive collection, whilst a charming aquarium is housed in the old lifeboat house showcasing locally caught fish.

Those avid walkers can amble along the glorious South West Coast Path, taking in stunning views along the way, and you many even stumble across the near-white sands of Pentewan Beach, perfect for an afternoon of sunbathing, paddling in the sea and enjoying all kinds of watersports, with hire canoes and sailing dinghies available from the nearby holiday park.

Take yourself further afield and the delights of Caerhays Castle, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Dodman Point are all within easy reach.

In fact, many Cornish attractions are accessible within about 45 minutes of this popular location.

About the location


St. Austell 5.5 miles; Truro 16 miles.

The perfect Cornish fishing village, with winding cobbled streets and a picturesque harbour full of boats. Stunning walks lead along the coast in both directions, with sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves to explore. The village has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants, whilst just up the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey also runs daily between Easter and September. Spend some time at the Tall Ships harbour at Charlestown (7 miles) with its shipwreck museum, or among the tropical biomes of the world-famous Eden Project (11 miles). The stunning coastline, fabulous beaches and renowned gardens of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula are a short drive down the coast while Truro, with its shops, restaurants, theatre and cathedral can be reached by car in half an hour.
