Hayle 1.2 miles.
As the name suggests The Hideaway is tucked away in the charming small village of Phillack amidst the sand dunes which stretch from the town of Hayle approx one mile away and is about half a mile inland from St Ives bay on Cornwall's Atlantic ocean coast.
Accessing The Hideaway down a few steps you enter this delightful ground floor flat into the beautifully furnished and welcoming open plan living room with a contemporary kitchen with dining area and a comfortable sitting area looking out onto the garden.
There are two bedrooms, one either side of the living room with a double and a most unusual twin bedroom both with so much individual character.
The enclosed garden at the rear of the property is ideal for relaxing with the children, friends or dogs after a day on the beach or walking along the stunning coastal path.
The famous 18th Century Grade 2 listed Pub, The Bucket of Blood Pub, just opposite The Hideaway, is now closed for refurbishment from November 2019 and is due to re open circa March/April 2020.
There are 2 other pubs close by, ranging from a 10 to 15 minute walk away from The Hideaway, namely, The Cornubia Inn, and The Cornish Arms, both serve Food and are open during the winter months, (it is recommended to book before hand as food may not be served every evening) and welcome children and dogs.
They both have open fires/log burners and a warm and cosy atmosphere.
It is best to book.
With Hayle close by and the magical town of St Ives only 9 miles away there will always be plenty to do and see from this cosy base but most will be more than happy to spend time on the local beaches and walking the breathtakingly beautiful coastal path.
A wonderful location for holidays and breaks throughout the year.
