  • "As always our cottage was clean, warm and welcoming."

The owners are friendly and helpful and supply a delicious cream tea upon arrival. This was our third stay at Trevosper Barn Cottages, that speaks for itself.

Pauline, thank you very much for your feedback and your continuing custom. We also appreciate the effort you put in to leave the cottage speckles and tidy. Hope to see you next year. Best wishes, Lauraine & Ulli Property Owner

  • "A bit off the beaten track."

However, that's part of the charm, but it's actually only just off the A30. This is a great location for exploring both the north and south coasts. A gorgeous setting with garden views over to Bodmin Moor. Everything was as described and the property felt fresh and was clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

Very easy access to the A30 within a couple of minutes , makes sightseeing easy no where seems very far. Very welcome cream tea on arrival. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen well equippped. TV with free view and a DVD. we were 2 adults but the second bunk bedroom would be tight for space with 2 children as well. Not sure it is made clear in brochure but there is an open tread staircase.Bathroom also a bit tight for space. but we would happily go again, as 2 adults.

Many thanks for your feedback and I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with aspects of the property. You will see from the website that this property receives glowing reviews from guests and if you had had any issues during your stay the owner/caretaker would have been able to assist you but you did not contact anybody. A great place to relax and perhaps drink a "sundowner" after a day touring. The owners Ulli and Lauraine were very welcoming and catered for our every requirement. The access lane is a single track with passing places but generally devoid of traffics during our stay. As a base for touring it has excellent road communications in all directions. The property

This terraced countryside cottage offers a very comfortable interior and sits within a fabulous setting with lovely views across the fields beyond.

There are slate flagstone floors, creating a traditional feel, as well as a kitchen/diner, sitting room with woodburner-effect electric fire, and two bedrooms, ideal for a family or group of friends.

Note: This cottage is next to Refs. 17370 and 18015, together they sleep 11.

Trevosper Barn

An attractive group containing three stone cottages and a barn conversion, in a countryside setting with fabulous views over the fields from the garden. The cottages are next to each other in a courtyard and lie within the hamlet of Polyphant. The owners also live within the courtyard in a converted farmhouse. This is a quiet, peaceful rural location, 5 miles west of the historic town of Launceston but within minutes of the main A30 route through Cornwall. The large, half-acre communal garden outside these Launceston cottages backs onto open countryside, and has a conservatory overlooking the wildlife pond; visitors can enjoy some quiet time here, with the added benefit of a small library of books and coffee-making facilities. There are some fabulous traditional pubs nearby, most of which are child-friendly and many of which accept dogs. The nearest to these Launceston cottages is only 1.5 miles away. This group of Launceston cottages are in an ideal location for exploring a whole range of pursuits, especially the dramatic North Cornwall coastline, including Widemouth Bay, which is particularly good for surfing, rock pools and beach games and is also dog-friendly. Walkers are spoilt for choice, with Bodmin Moor on the doorstep, dominated by dramatic granite tors which tower over the sweeping expanses of open moorland. Why not take a family cycle ride along the gentle reaches of the nearby Camel Trail, a traffic-free route following the course of the river through woodland and moorland? These Launceston cottages offer a great base to explore and unwind together.
