  • "The cottage was clean and well furnished but the location was not very pleasant, a bank on one side blocked out all the light and views and the pub and road on the other was not nice."

The outside space faced the road so was not a pleasant place to sit in. The neighbours had blocked off their front door so used their back door all the time and walked past our kitchen. The bathroom was off the kitchen a long way from the bedrooms and exposed ourselves to the neighbours!! It was a bit damp in the cottage. The owner left some lovely extras like food and wine but we were missing some basic equipment like a frying pan flip. Some things could be improved like some smaller dinner plates that would fit in the dishwasher, practical things. On the whole we had a nice stay but I wouldn’t go back.

  • "Spent a lovely few weeks staying here!"

! The cottage was beautifully decorated and very cosy, and we had everything we needed to make our stay amazing!! It is a little off the beaten track, but I think that made it more special. The neighbours were very friendly and we felt like part of the community. Spotlessly clean throughout, can highly recommend!!

  • "Lovely cottage, very quiet location."

Was great to arrive to wine chilling in the fridge, also milk, orange juice, scones, cream and jam, and crusty bread to start us off. Well equipped kitchen, with utensils and detergents supplied. Enjoyable week away for 3 adults

  • "A lovely cottage, really well equipped and comfortable to stay in."

It's well placed for lots of the sights and activities in this part of Cornwall, but in a small village it feels off the beaten track. The owner made us feel very welcome too.

  • "The cottage was not private and was not accurately described."

Neighbours from the adjoining property passed by all downstairs windows and through the garden which compromised our privacy and prevented us from enjoying the garden. We would not have booked this property if we had known we would share access to the garden and adjoining property. The neighbours' dog was allowed to poo in the garden. We were really disappointed with the inaccurate description of the house and have not received adequate compensation for the loss of privacy.
