  • "The property was excellent and a super location for the village, facilities and touring the area."

It was very nicely appointed with everything you would need. We enjoyed a great holiday. The welcome gift was very welcome and appreciated. Cleaning on arrival was an issue for us as we found we had to wash plates, cutlery and equipment which was not clean when when we came to use it. A bit tedious. Whilst all the main floors, furniture and the bathrooms were well cleaned, under beds and settees (and surfaces on furniture (tops of settees, sideboards, tv) were thick with dust and left a poor impression for such quality offer. Given that its a 9am departure and 4pm check there should be time for good housekeeping. The house was overall super though and we look forward to seeing the owners development plans they are looking to take forward.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by these issues. Your comments have been passed on to the team here at John Bray Cornish Holidays. This is one of the best holiday homes we’ve been to. Stunning location overlooking Port Isaac, breathtaking views. The bungalow itself is spacious and comfortable, and well appointed to the highest specifications. Couldn’t fault it and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

  • "There was building work both sides during our stay."

We couldn’t get the TV to switch to terrestrial and don’t watch cable channels so no viewing. We had to leave a day early due to the 9am check out time which we find impossible to achieve and feel is unacceptably early and ruins the end of your holiday.

Thank you for taking the time to complete feedback following your stay. The current building works are highlighted on the website so that guests can make an informed decision if the property is suitable for them. We apologise if these unduly disturbed you more than expected. We are sorry you couldn't get the TV on terrestrial but thank you for letting us know - we will have this checked out. Our check-out time is actually 9.30am - while we appreciate that might be an earlier check out time, this is standard to all our properties to enable the housekeeping team enough time to make all the properties ready for the next guests. We trust you otherwise enjoyed your stay. John Bray on behalf of the owner Property Owner

Location could not be better and the facilities are 1st class. We were informed that there may be noisy building work being done to the next door property - never heard them and when we saw them they were very polite and courteous (guiding us in and out of the shared drive) Looking forward to returning next March, will keep looking for when dates become available. ...very comfy bed -great to wake up to that view every morning... Few little niggles - towel rails weren't working,t.v in bedroom didn't work, kettle could do with replacing, looked as if it had been boiled dry - in the property info it says that there's tea, coffee sugar provided, there wasn't any.. also conflicting info about departure time, two things said 9 and 2 said 9.30 .. Also still ongoing work in properties either side of us,vans always parked up outside... Apart from our little niggles,(sorry) probably one of the best properties we have stayed at in port isaac in the last 14years of visiting - added bonus to have parking,we will be back.. • "Rang to query the one line about building work at bottom of property description told neighbour was doing some work as and when and there had been no complaints."

The truth was we were surrounded by heavy building work Monday to Friday with the cul de sac full of lorries and vans and noise making access to the steep sloping driving really difficult. Publish what you like we won't be using you again.

Thank you for your feedback. We can only apologise for the disruption to your stay, we had not been aware of the extent of the building works. The works at the property are now internal so there isn’t any disruption – John Bray Cornish Holiday’s on behalf of the owners. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was spotless and the decor and furnishings are in keeping with the amazing view and location."

The beds were extremely comfortable and it was lovely to stay somewhere with a good range of glassware, mugs and pretty much everything else you can think of in the kitchen. The extra space and shower in the utility room was really handy for drying and storing wetsuits and walking bits. Our only criticism is the outdoors area. With such a stunning view we wanted to sit outside lots. The furniture is lovely but needs some cushions and a parasol for shade.

  • "The accommodation was of very high quality with a beautiful view ."

Everything in the cottage was top quality - the towels, the bedding, the crockerry, the cutlery as well as the furniture. My only criticism would be the difficulty of drying the laundered clothes -the small 'airer' was limiting with a family and whilst an outside washing line might not be a good idea (seagulls/blot on landscape), a retractable line in the utility room would have been very useful. And on the fantastic patio a barbecue? The location couldn't have been better! A fabulous stay -thank you!

  • "I would just like to say that we found the accommodation at Pebble stones extremely comfortable and clean."

The view from the property as you enter the living room took our breath away, it is quite stunning. I would recommend hiring bikes in Wadesbridge and cycling the camel trail as far as Padstow. Also further afield we travelled to Bude which has a very nice beach. We hired a rowing boat in Bude and spent an hour on the local canal. All in all our holiday was really enjoyed by the whole family.
