The cottage was spotlessly clean and very cosy. We only had a short break but would love to go back to stay again in the future. Ideal spot close to harbour, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

  • "Very comfortable , would recommend but the sitting room is dark and need to keep lights on, if maximum people were staying it would feel crowded."

Dear Helen, I trust you are well and had a safe journey home. Thank you for taking the time to complete the feedback from your recent stay at Temple Cottage. I'm glad to hear you found the property was comfortable for you. Unfortunately, due to the nature of some of the old fishermens cottages in some of our locations, I appreciate the rooms can be a bit dark. Their access to natural light is more limited due to the way they were designed historically - and therefore add to the character of the original building. We hope you otherwise had an enjoyable stay and that you choose to book with John Bray Cornish Holidays again as we would love to welcome you back to Cornwall in the very near future. • "This fantastic cottage has sooo many great aspects."

It's perfectly located - truly just steps from town. You can be to the Chapel Cafe for their delicious Cornish Sweet Tea in moments, or to the Golden Lion for a wonderful dinner. The cottage itself is adorable and comfortable. I typically have mediocre expectations of the furniture and beds at rentals, but I slept like a baby in the beds and enjoyed relaxing evenings in the downstairs living room. I loved this rental, and LOVED Port Isaac.

  • "We love this cottage and once again we had a great stay."

The trek up the to the garage hasn’t got any easier, but is getting a bit much for our 70 year old legs. I would also like you to give some consideration to installing a hand rail towards the end of the bath as stepping out gave me some cause for concern.

Thank you very much for your feedback on your stay at Temple Cottage. We are glad that you continue to enjoy Temple Cottage and its surroundings. We take all suggestions seriously and will be sure to look into the hand rail. Property Owner

  • "Very good cottage inside with a high standard of fittings - tried the iron on Saturday and it leaked out of the base so assume someone had dropped it before me."

Outside it would have been nice to have some pansies in the hanging baskets rather than rusty brackets with stains on the wall but this is minor really - lovely cottage and very warm and cosy

Hello David, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I will have the iron replaced immediately, the leak had not previously been brought to my attention, so thank you for letting me know about it. As for the rust marks on the exterior walls and the lack of hanging baskets, this is being rectified this weekend with a coat of paint and professionally prepared baskets which we always replace around this time of the year so they last the season. I am pleased that you found the cottage warm and cosy. Kind regards, Jacki (owner) Property Owner
