  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Just Beachy."

It was the perfect place for us with two small children who loved the garden and toys in the flat plus playground at the bottom of the garden! Couldn’t have asked for a better location.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

It was such a pretty place, overall the house was perfect for my husband and myself. The location was fab. We even tried to book again for August when we got home but unfortunately there was none until October. We will definitely return and fingers crossed we can book this place again.

  • "Amazing location and so close to the beach."

Nice little yard to sit in and catch the sun. A simple little apartment that has nearly everything you could need... BUT the fridge is tiny and we couldn't store the chilled food we had brought. We felt like we were camping as we had to use our coolbox and circulate icepacks, but still ended up having to throw food out. It wouldn't cost much to get a decent sized fridge and there is plenty of room for it. Also, oven doesn't seal correctly so does a poor job. Kitchen lights have all blown - may be a fault. Bathroom light and shaver socket above mirror is not working. Double bed mattress needs replacing and support in the middle of the bed looks like it is breaking. Poor facilities let down what is a great little property. Paying £1300 for a week is a lot and I expected better facilities. At least get a bigger fridge!

  • "The holiday property was cute and good sized, and like it said literally next to the beach."

it wasn’t cleaned very well as when we arrived there was sand and hair all over the floor and a dirty towel left on the kitchen window sill. The scones and jam made a nice touch, also the toys were good as we hadn’t brought a lot with us so that was nice too. The bathroom light didn’t work and we had to contact the property owners and they did try there best to sort the problem unfortunately we didn’t have a bathroom light throughout our 3 night stay, an electrician was supposed to come and sort the issue but just didn’t turn up one night, and then again the next night was meant to come at 6 but then got pushed back till 7 and then didn’t turn up till 745 which I had replied earlier on not to come as we were all off to bed early kids were already asleep and he just kept banging on the door. It’s not what you want when your on holiday having to deal with issues like this.

  • "The property was great and very clean lovely surprise of cream tea when we arrived."

This is not a complaint or negative about the property but the bathroom vent fan did not work and a mirror in the bedroom would have been useful, but this property is of a high standard and would definitely hire it again.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Just Beachy."

I stayed with my 18 month old daughter and the owners had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and safe. The location is perfect, with everything you need right on the doorstep. My daughter loved the playground and the ice cream from the parlour just across the beach was delicious! Would highly recommend this property and we will be back!

  • "Had a great weeks holiday at Just Beachy Although the apartment is a bit shabby on the outside once inside it is really clean and comfortable It is just Beachy Being only a short stroll to the sea Porthtowan is a lovely village with a pub ice cream parlour beach shop and cafe."

What more could you want oh yes a convenience store that sells everything it has that too. So if you want a beach holiday you can just sit back and enjoy the sun sea and sand. I visited in May when it was fairly quite I imagine in the summer it would be a bit noisy as the neighbours are very close as is the children’s play ground but still ideal for a family holiday The kids would love it There are steep steps down to the entrance which I found a bit difficult but inside is all on one level with plenty of room to move about
