  • "We loved staying at Atlantic Sunset and the location was great for water sports, beach access and dog walks."

The property was very comfortable for us all. High quality bed linen appreciated as was the welcome hamper, milk and Easter egg! Thank you. We would definitely stay here again. A couple of things to address, mainly the side window in the upper bedroom - it definitely needs a blind or curtain erecting to block the light. Also, a bigger frying pan would be useful especially as the house sleeps 6. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • "Lovely stay."

Beautiful cottage, well maintained private garden and perfectly situated for Porth, Watergate Bay and Newquay. Strong recommend and would definitely stay again. Hosts were very accommodating, beds comfortable, great shower and all the facilities we needed for a longer stay.

  • "The property was beautiful!"

Couldn’t see any faults. Only thing that I would mention is that the listing mentions that it provides high chair and travel cot. (Sorry if I have missed it on the listing) Loved the little bits for the dogs We had a brilliant week and was so sad to leave. Would definitely recommend and would 100% stay again.

  • "Atlantic Sunset was the perfect holiday home."

It was so clean and comfortable. A lovely welcome basket with tea, coffe and a yummy Cornish tea of scones jam and clotted cream was waiting for us. There was even little treats, dishes and towels for the dogs. The garden is safe and enclosed. We will definitely stay again. The only point to note is that the upstairs bedrooms whilst lovely with amazing views have low sloped ceilings so if you are tall be warned.

  • "Atlantic Sunset is a terrific property that has excellent proximity to the beach."

It is our second stay here and we were just as impressed by it, if only the sun could have shone this year! The only two small niggles I have are that there is not enough cutlery. Six forks for a property that holds six people means you're constantly having to wash up which is not what you want on holiday. I also find having only three dishwasher tabs when you have paid £2.7k to rent the more than stingy. Only small things but wanted to share. Otherwise a terrific property and a great base for our holiday.

  • "I can’t praise the house and our stay enough!"

The pictures don’t do it justice it was beautiful in a brilliant location - sea view with a 2 minute walk to the beach. The facilities were above and beyond, the welcome pack so personable. We had an issue with the fridge and the hosts were BRILLIANT resolved it above our expectations and even said here is some wine to enjoy your stay as a sorry. No need in my opinion but the little bits the hosts done to go above and beyond were amazing. Definitely be back!!! Fabulous place, location, facilities and garden - perfect!!

  • "Delightful holiday home!"

The welcome pack (especially the scones, cream and jam) was a great start, after our journey. We loved the big television and the property is very spacious, very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The location is excellent - so near Porth beach - had several walks on the beach and the headlands. The downstairs shower is brilliant, but the fan/light did not work (owner informed) - used the window instead. The hot water system works very well but, after many attempts, we were unable to turn on the radiators - the owner offered to visit but, as the weather was so mild (an amazing week) and Covid is on the up, we declined.

  • "Absolutely perfect!"

I cannot think of a single negative. The house is beautifully maintained with everything we could wish for in a holiday letting. The host was very helpful, even coming out at short notice to repair my wife's glasses! The estate is quiet and the walk to the beach really was no more than 10 minutes, even at the pace of a three year old. This would definitely be our first choice if we decide to return to Porth for future holidays.

  • "Really clean, super layout and comfortable accomodation in which you thought of everything!"

On our arrival we found a lovely basket of scones with jam & clotted cream, milk, biscuits, butter and coffee laid out! Towels, bedding, and mattresses were top quality. Sofas were comfy, tv like a cinema screen, even instant light BBQ pack in the BBQ waiting for our use! 2 spacious areas to sit out in the garden with top quality furniture, and a very impressive offer of bedding and towels changed and a general clean done for us while we were out at a midpoint in our holiday! Plenty of hot water and powerful showers, ample supply of crockery and cutlery. Really everything has been thought of in this house, and 7 min walk to a great beach or a 4 lane bowling alley is just awesome - not to mention a friendly (but not over the top) seagull pair on the roof who produced a hatch of 2 chicks for our entertainment while we stayed!! Really special place, thank you. All we needed was a tad more sun... maybe next year..?

  • "Home from a wonderful week spent at Atlantic Sunset- what a beautiful holiday let."

We stayed for 7 nights (4 adults, 2 children and our small dog)- the home was spacious, clean and homely- we could have stayed! Wonderful and very appreciated ‘welcome pack’ of milk/ jam/ scones/ biscuits/ clotted cream/ butter/ tea and coffee. The well equipped kitchen had absolutely everything we needed- beds all extremely clean and comfortable. Sunny and safe garden that was beautifully maintained. Large white bath towels and washing line which came in very handy! Unfortunately we couldn’t grasp the tumble dryer which didn’t seem to dry very well- not sure if it needs looking at or perhaps just some instructions on how to use? Did not in anyway impact on our stay though! Highly recommend Atlantic Sunset and Thankyou!

Extremely spacious and comfortable. Lovely and clean. Had everything to make it feel like home. Lovely touch of cream tea on arrival and treats for the dog. Safe enclosed back garden. Amazing storage space in kitchen and bedrooms. Only 5 mins walk downhill to beach. (Maybe just needs some nets putting on front door ) Could have easily stayed here for a month. Will be back.

The garden has different areas to sit with ample seating. The house is on a quiet road. Porth beach is a short walk and it's brilliant for the whole family not overcrowded and is flat. Enjoyed walk up to coastal path. Gwenna tea house is on route to the beach which was our favourite place, but there are couple more cafes. Newquay is a 15 mins walk or 5 mins in a car. We would definitely stay at Atlantic sunset again.

  • "We had a brilliant holiday at Atlantic Sunset."

The cottage had everything we needed and is in a great location. It’s an easy walk to the lovely Porth beach which we found much quieter than other beaches we tried in the area. It’s also a great beach to watch the sunset in the evening, although you can also see it from the upstairs bedrooms. The cottage is well equipped, the most storage I’ve ever had in a holiday property and even had a tumble dryer which we found useful. Lovely garden with bbq too. The owners were very helpful. Nearby we enjoyed Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth beaches, both a short drive.
