  • "Beautiful property with an amazing location!"

The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a family break and the perfect retreat to relax in after a busy day. The apartment is directly opposite the beautiful Whipsiderry Beach and only a 2 minute stroll to Porth Beach; the location is perfect for fun-filled days by the sea. The fantastic Watergate beach is also accessible via a 25 minute walk on the coastal path or a quick 3-min drive. With surf schools and great places to eat on your doorstep, the apartment is fantastic, away from the hustle of central Newquay and with an abundance of perks! We would definitely return in a heartbeat!

  • "We were absolutely delighted with this property for our week’s stay."

The location is excellent with Porth Beach and some bars/eateries being a very short walk away and everything else a short drive. The property was spotlessly clean and modern with everything you could possibly need at your disposal. Even down to having fans in the bedrooms which was handy for me as I need to sleep with a fan on. The kitchen was superbly equipped and all the small touches like teabags and milk on arrival were much appreciated. The property felt spacious inside for 2 adults and 2 children, and it benefits from beautiful styling and interior décor which we loved. The property overlooks the rear carpark which was beautifully lit with ambient lighting at night and benefitted from some partial countryside views which I enjoyed. Being on the second floor we were able to get a nice breeze and really appreciated the lift when bringing things in/out, and most importantly, no noise from neighbouring flats. Finally, the host was very communicative and pleasant and resolved a very small issue we had with the vacuum immediately. No negatives whatsoever. Can’t recommend this place highly enough! Thanks for a brilliant stay!

  • "The apartment was comfortable and well equipped."

Good location for accessing coastal walks and beaches across the road as well as visiting other areas of Cornwall. We had a minor problem (our mistake) however it was easy to contact the owner who was able to quickly resolve the issue. Although not mentioned in the online details there is a washing machine and dishwasher in the property. Highly recommend the property - the only disappointing aspect is the apartment overlooks the car park.

  • "Very good accommodation, very comfortable."

Although it’s called Watergate View, the property does not have a sea view but a view of the car park. Rather disappointing

  • "What an absolutely beautiful apartment."

The decor is amazing and everything is there that is required. I had great communication from the owner before, during and after my stay (as I'd left something behind). There were some scones waiting for us when we got there and also a little kitchen pack that was most welcome. The location is perfect for getting to Newquay by car within 10 minutes and 5-10 minutes to some beautiful beeches such as Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth, as well as the beach across the road. I would certainly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

  • "We had such a wonderful time when we visited Watergate."

We have a toddler and so needed easy accessible facilities and the accommodation had all this, with a short walk down to Porth beach which was perfect. The apartment is like new and kitted out with brilliant spec. So clean and tidy and was identical to the listing on Sykes. The owners were so accommodating of us, making sure that we had everything that we needed - we felt right at home. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone and will certainly be visiting again! Thank you!

  • "On arrival at Watergate View, we were very impressed."

It was a beautiful apartment in a great location, walking distance to both Porth beach and Watergate Bay. The apartment was really lovely with a very attractive décor, providing everything you could possibly need. The beach hut storage outside was really useful for putting your beach things in each day, so no need to take them into the apartment. Overall, we loved our holiday at Watergate View and would definitely return to stay there. Thank you!
