The property

This well-appointed first floor apartment is in the converted Porthcurno Hotel within the beautiful Porthcurno valley.

Porthcurno beach with its white sand, clear blue seas and spectacular rugged headlands is just a short walk away making this a perfect holiday base for beach lovers, friends and families.

Set on one level the property, the apartment is light and airy with an open plan living area, well equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin with en-suite bathroom.

Outside there is a private decking area with a bench seats and guests have access to the peaceful shared terraced gardens (please supervise your children).

The beautiful and peaceful Porthcurno valley creates the perfect environment for simply lazing on the beach, walking the rugged cliff paths and enjoying stunning views.

Porthcurno itself was the site of Britain's first major communications link to the Empire in 1870, where a chain of telegraph cables connecting Britain with India was completed.

Godrevy is ideally located just a few minutes stroll to the beach and coastal footpaths, tennis courts, The Cable Inn, the famous Museum of Global Communications and the world renowned Minack open air theatre carved out of the natural rock on the cliff edges, with the sea as a stunning backdrop.

Visit the pretty fishing village of Mousehole, a 20 minute drive away with its quaint and timeless ambiance, with tiny harbour and charming streets of galleries, restaurants and traditional inns all serving fresh local fayre.

The bustling port of Newlyn is alive with colourful boats and fishing vessels offering pleasure trips.

On its shoulder sits the vibrant town of Penzance, on the south facing shores of Mount's Bay.

Travel further around this arc of sand and visit Marazion, with its stretch of sandy beach overlooking the surreal St Michael's Mount.

With coastal walks on the doorstep and stunning sea views this is a very attractive holiday property for all the family.

Land’s End 4 miles; St. Just 9 miles; Penzance 9 miles; St Ives 17 miles.

The small village of Porthcurno is situated four miles from Land’s End on the south coast of West Cornwall. The village has a sandy beach, a café, a restaurant that’s open during the summer season and cliff-top and coastal walks. Porthcurno is also home to the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum, where you can learn about the underwater cables that connected the village to various places around the world. To the west of Porthcurno is the famous Minack Theatre, which is a superb open air venue with 750 seats and boasts views across Porthcurno Bay to The Lizard. Close by is Land’s End, the most westerly point of mainland England offering something for all the family, and also within reach are lovely Cornish towns and villages, including the popular resorts of Penzance and St Ives. A delightful base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
