    Mr Bowden

    “We loved staying here.”

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was larger than we expected.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was larger than we expected. A brilliant location. About a three minute walk to beautiful Porthcurno beach and within easy reach of most of Cornwall. The first few days of stormy weather was not a problem as the apartment is so cozy, and we still got out and about during the storm. A perfect place for us to stay.

This property is part of the Cornish & Devonshire Cottage Holidays collection.

The cottage

Stroll to the beach from this ground floor apartment which provides attractive and spacious accommodation in the beautiful coastal village of Porthcurno, West Cornwall.

With the beach and the village amenities all on your doorstep, this apartment is perfect for couples who are looking for a restful holiday in a beautiful area.

Converted from a former hotel, you will instantly feel the light and space as you enter the apartment.

The kitchen is well equipped for rustling up your favourite feasts and the sitting area has plenty of seating whether you wish to snuggle up or stretch out.

The lovely bedroom has the luxury of a superking zip and link bed and in the morning, open the French doors to a small patio area and enjoy your morning coffee while taking some air.

The village of Porthcurno boasts soft white sands and clear azure seas framed by jagged headlands, the perfect spot for lazing by the sea or taking an energetic cliff top walk to admire the views.

The coastal path will take you to Logan Rock, or ‘Rocking Stone’, part of an Iron Age cliff castle and a visit to the Museum of Submarine Telegraphy will show you unique collections and World War Two Tunnels.

Book to see a performance at The Minack Theatre, an outdoor theatre carved out of the natural rock on the cliff edge with the sea as a magnificent backdrop.

There are a host of places to visit on your touring days, St Ives, with its arty atmosphere and beautiful beaches, Penzance, the centre of the Lands End Peninsula or one of the many pretty coves and harbours along this fabulous stretch of coast.

An excellent apartment for couples looking for a restful and relaxing holiday.
