"Another great week at this property which we have been using for the last few years."
We strongly recommend, and have already booked another week.
-
"We enjoyed staying in Longships."
It is very well equipped and well furnished. We loved its position close to the beach, the Minack Theatre and beautiful coastline. We would have liked some instructions for the electric heaters as there were several programmes and we were not able to work it out.
-
"Very nice property and lovely location."
A non slip bath mat would be useful as the bath can be very slippery when wet. There was quite a strange smell downstairs
-
"Such a lovely stay."
Well equipped and in the most beautiful location. We will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you
-
"An absolute joy."
Excellent facilities throughout, but it’s the little unexpected details that makes a visit memorable, welcome items, deco, information, even an outside shower for wet suits.

"Longships was a lovely place to stay."
Perfect for us as we were visiting family in Penzance and we also love Porthcurno beach. We will be back and would love to stay at Longships again. Thank you
-
"Longships is ideally located."
It is close to lovely Porthcurno beach, stunning cliff walks, and the wonderful Minnack Theatre. The accommodation is very clean, comfortable and well equipped, and we cannot speak highly enough of it.

"We really enjoyed our stay at Longships."
It is a lovely, very well maintained property with everything you need for your holiday and in such a great location .
-
"Amazing location and property."
Kitchen so well equipped - we made cakes! (Silicon bun trays, scales, whisk all in cupboards). Some great cookbooks, good quality cutlery. A well looked after owners holiday home. Great selection of books, dvds and games for a rainy day. Comfortable beds - what more could one ask for. Lovely quiet village. Stones throw from Porthcurno beach. Lamorna cove is only a couple of miles - well worth a visit. St Buryan has a lively shop selling local bacon and sausage and house just up from there sells great fr eggs.

"A super apartment in a wonderful village nothing more to say it is idyllic"
-
"This was ideal accommodation for our extended holiday in Porthcurno."
It met our requirements perfectly and we hope to stay there again.

"The pub closed down at least 2 months ago and will not reopen until next year at the earliest."
As we like to have a drink with our dinner and don't drink & drive, this meant that we had to cook in the cottage each evening. This means we don't get a holiday from cooking ! Also, your app gives a countdown to when we can get in. This is set for midnight, but we cannot get in till 17.30 later that day !

"Longships felt more like a cottage than a duplex apartment."
It was very clean and comfortable. It had everything there we needed to make our stay easy. It is also ideally located for the beach - 5-7 min walk.

"Very disapointed in all the servives, very dirty bathroom mould everywhere, dirty windows and broken curtain poles."
We had no wifi and very bad comunication as no phone reception so had to drive out of Valley to make phone call, wifi working on our last day, my 16 year old not happy at all ! Over all all very upsetting and very disapointed, will not recomend to stay here or book through Sykes Cottages.
Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. We contacted you at the start and during your stay to make you aware of the unforeseen WIFI problems that week at the property. If you had contacted us about the other issues during your stay we would have been happy to help. Property Owner

"Apart from a very uncomfortable mattress (a very hard ridge down the middle ) on the double bed, we had a very pleasant stay."
We also feel the initial problem with Covid compliance could have been resolved less stressfully with a bit more forethought.
-
"Lovely accommodation giving space and every amenity you could need in a stunning location."
Did not want to leave and very much hope to return. Totally recommend.
