• "Very clean apartment with views of the sea over the carpark."

  Great level access from the parking space into spacious rooms. The ensuite was a tad small but the main bathroom great. We found the sofa and king size bed far too low for our older hips and backs but the twin room very comfortable. An oven glove would be handy and a bath mat in the bath. There were plenty of mugs but not enough plates to last between the dishwasher use if you wanted to fill it up each cycle and only 2 dishwasher tablets given. The automatic key fob needs a new battery. Fab television when the luddite in me worked out how to use it. Overall though had a lovely holiday and it was a treat to sit out on the balcony this time of year. Thank you

• "A great place to stay with parking and easy access on foot to all St Ives has to offer."

  Due to the location of the property, there is no need to drive right into the centre, which is ideal. Photos and description are accurate. We would love to stay again.

• "Great place to stay."

  Well equipped apartment. Very clean. We stayed in this apartment a few years ago and it was not very clean and not very well equipped in the kitchen. What a change. Well done! Will definitely visit again.

• "Arrived 4pm."

  .ish, and all looked good... however had a real problem with the TV Skybox setup and arriving on Sunday afternoon it left us with no support via Sykes other than leaving a voice message via its 01244 numder service... which a lovely young lady answered sometime later... Help arrived Monday via the Carbis Bay team after we'd effected a tempory repair... as coaxial cables had been pulled from twin screw-in plug sockets. The apartment was lovely, comfortable and clean apart from the Oven which smoked terribly when first switched-on...Wednesday, residue of cleanning agent apparently and smelt awful... had to open all the windows to clear smell and worried we'd setoff the fire alarm. We enjoyed our stay but issues shouldn't have happened for the customer to discover. Best Regards John

• "Perfect location for a family holiday, close to the town and Portminster beach."

  Excellent facilities within the apartment. The only thing that lets it down a little is the outside furniture, very basic and uncomfortable. Overall though it was a really lovely place to stay and we would return. Thank you.

• "Absolutely loved our stay at Indigo - mainly for its proximity to St Ives and the most spectacular view from the balcony."

  Have marked it down on cleanliness and comfort due to the following issues: Balcony tables are very rusty and need replacing. The balcony chairs are uncomfortable basic plastic chairs with only two seat pads provided for four chairs. The sink plug mechanism in the en-suite bathroom is not working properly so the sink does not retain water. There was a stain on the mattress cover of one of the beds in the twin bedroom. If these things were addressed, it would be perfect.

• "We had a lovely time at this property, the balcony and view were was fantastic but the table and chairs need updating they looked old and worn."

  We couldn’t use the bar stools as no were for your knees. The bed was to low to the floor and needed a much thicker mattress as to me this to one-off the most important parts of your Holliday, the on-site bathroom isa little to small couldn’t bend down in the shower unit , main barroom great plenty room but do think both shower units need grip handles. For us the couch was also too low as we are the older generation , these are only little things that can be fixed overall it was lovely in a good position and parking was perfect with no steps to the front door. You do though have to be able to walk up very steep paths and steps to go into town or beach we just managed it and we are in our 70s.

• "Very nice property in good location."

  As mentioned by others the 9am check out and 4pm check in effectively means 6 days not 7 and even with Covid is excessive as the cleaners appeared at 9am on the dot so wouldn’t be cleaning till 5.

• "Our second stay in Indigo and we love it."

  Our main gripe is check out at 9am when you don’t let in until 5!! And you don’t allow the use of the Car parking space after 9 either!! I know it’s a pandemic but think 9am too early to check out and you should at least let your guests leave their car until day 11am do they can go for breakfast before the long journey home. I did text the number in the book to request the use of the carpark too but I didn’t get a reply. Thanks

• "Indigo is a lovely spacious and perfectly located apartment for St Ives with a lovely balcony, view & parking."

  We had a lovely 2 week stay and would love to return, but sadly the extortionate price increase of nearly 50% (an increase of almost £1000 for the same two weeks in 2022) has put us off returning. We have stayed with Carbis Bay Holidays for many years and have always found the prices to be reasonable and expect an increase in line with inflation each year, but this latest huge increase is extremely disappointing to see. Looking at other reviews for other properties it seems we are not the only people to think this. We also missed our cream tea on arrival that we were expecting from previous years. It’s a shame that’s gone too. A lovely property but price increase for 2022 unjustifiable.

  We used this most days, good for the kids if weather is bad and for a nice swim / gym. We also liked the seals in the harbour almost every afternoon. We liked the fact that we could eat in some nice restaurants but that they also had a childrens menu. St Andrews Bistro was a favourite, very nice food for grown ups and atmnosphere but also very welcoming for children. Paradise Park was great, nice day out for the family, with indoor play.
