  • "Our stay was lovely!"

St ives is like our second home, we come here every chance we get! We stayed in Waters watch which I wish I could rate higher than I have, but I just felt stressed staying here! I will say every time there was a problem it was sorted. The mattress was very uncomfortable, both of us didn't get much sleep as it wasn't comfortable at at all. I will say I loved the living room area and kitchen! The view is amazing from the living room and the kitchen has everything in that you need to cook! I loved the light up morrior in the bathroom, that was also a really lovely touch! Also has a really nice little court yard at the back which we didn't use (it's November) but was really lovely!

Thank you for your wonderful comments, we are thrilled that you loved your stay with us and that any issues were dealt with swiftly. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "We couldn't have had a better stay in St Ives; our apartment was modern, clean, perfectly situated and a short walk from town, and had all the amenities we needed."

We loved staying at Waters Watch.

  • "Fantastic, clean and well kept property in a prime location."

Had a wonderful stay with the family and will definitely look to return for future family holidays. One very minor request, although I appreciate the space is fairly restricted the small courtyard could do with a revamp (and kept a little cleaner) to make it more appealing.

Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased to hear you thought the apartment was fantastic and well kept, we will be sure to pass on your request to the owner of the property for their consideration. We hope to welcome you back again in the future. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "The property was clean and very comfortable."

The facilities in the property were excellent. The only issue we had was with the outside space, the table and chairs were totally unusable due to the fact that they were full of rust, there was an old builder's bucket and a trug left on the table. This was reported to Emma, upon our arrival, who said that she had informed the owner but nothing was changed whilst we were there

  • "Hi would have scored this higher, however we have now been receiving emails of a report of damage which is 4 weeks after we have got back from our stay."

The owner of waters watch has given us an invoice of over £200 rug which they want us to pay for as there was “damage” marks on the rug. The rug isn’t even the same as the one in the apartment. Such a shame after a nice time in St Ives!

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this feedback after your stay in Waters Watch. We are very sorry to hear that you are unhappy for being charged for the damage that happened to the rug. We understand that you were just charged the Good Housekeeping bond and not the full cost for the replacement rug. Unfortunately, the owner was unable to purchase a direct replacement, therefore had to source an alternative rug. Kind regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner
