Boskernyk is uniquely quirky and delectably different and makes a charming retreat, elevated on the cliff top at popular Porthtowan Beach.
Constructed around a former motor coach set on the hillside by a miner in the 1930's, the accommodation has evolved and grown to create an individually designed interior.
Boskernyk makes a seductively alternative escape for couples.
The sitting room is the original body of the coach so expect a low, curved ceiling (be prepared to stoop!) and a cosy rustic vibe, along with low French doors opening onto the decked balcony with sea views.
The separate kitchen and sunroom with dining area is light and bright with a multi fuel burner for extra snuggles in the cooler months.
There is a shower room and separate WC, and bedroom with country views and good seaside slumber.
The almost wrap-around garden is on a gently sloped lawn with a spot for siestas, sunshine and dining alfresco.
What better place to sit with a morning coffee or sundowner tipple overlooking the seascape?
Porthtowan's Blue Flag award winning beach is one of Cornwall's most popular surfing venues, lifeguarded from May to September with surf schools offering tuition and gear hire.
With glorious sand set against striking cliffs, this resort has much to offer.
Two pubs, a village store, a colourful waterside café/bar, an ice cream parlour, surf shop, gift store and fish and chip shop means all is conveniently to hand.
Enjoy a range of outdoor pursuits; the most spectacular seascapes from cliff top rambles, cycling (hire the gear) and pony trekking, or browse the cobbled cathedral city of Truro with theatre, cinema and galleries, plus good retail stores.
Falmouth is a short drive away with four beaches, a picturesque harbour - board the ferry to beautiful St Mawes or take a pleasure boat trip or fishing expedition.
Explore the latest exhibitions at the National Maritime Museum or simply dine at one of the oceanside eateries.
A perfect getaway for a couple which is dog friendly and inspirationally different
