"The chalet was disappointing."
Plants have grown up around it so it is very dark, there is no outlook at all.The parking is very restricted and involves either reversing in or out of a steep drive with a bend onto the road to the beach. These aspects should be mentioned in your holiday house details.

"The description is from 2014 - so the Post Office / shop is not open in 2020 neither is the Beachcomber restaurant."
The Sandbar restaurant is looking tired in 2020.
However the Coach and Horses and the Queen's Head are nearby (on the main road) and are very good.

Praa sands 14/8/20-21/8/20.
Firstly we want to say a big thank you to Andrea for making our stay just perfect, what a lovely welcome a bottle of bucks fizz , scones jam and clotted cornish cream, cornish biscuits and a vase of flowers.
Palm lodge surpassed our expectations it has every thing you could've possibly wanted. It's spacious comfortable well equipped kitchen immaculately clean throughout and even has a BBQ and sun loungers on the decking.
It was such a wonderful relief to finally get away after months of lockdown and to have a bit of normality in our lives.
And palm lodge was just what we needed
It is a ideal place to stay for a couple.

"We had a fabulous break."
The owners were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They welcomed us with a cream tea and a bottle of buck fizz, a lovely touch!! They had thought of everything, took my own iron but there was no need as they provided everything. We would highly recommend the lodge to others as there in nothing we can fault!!! We would love to go back at some point. Plenty of places to explore and loads of walking. We look forward to returning :)

"This lodge was one of the most luxurious and well equipped self catering accommodation we've stayed in."
The owners are really friendly and catered for every need, including a very nice welcome basket. There was a top sheet on the bed so we could dispense with the duvet, there were more than the usual number of towels and even flannels provided Although we used our own the kitchen cannisters contained tea, coffee and sugar. It was immaculately clean and as the owners haven't owned it for very long everything was new. It is well situated, just 10 minutes stroll from the beach at Praa Sandsa and very near to many tourist attractions such as Helston and St Michael's Mount.
We have already recommended it to friends.
