About the property

Settled in the charming village of Praa Sands rests this remarkable first-floor apartment, Praa Cove - one of an exclusive group of three sea-facing apartments.

Boasting far-reaching views across the Cornish coastline, Praa Cove is perfectly positioned for a retreat to the seaside for both friends and families alike.

A sheltered carpark greets you upon arrival to this elegant apartment building, providing two convenient designated parking spaces and leading you through a communal entrance to a staircase, providing access to the first-floor, where a paved courtyard homes a handful of contemporary apartments.

Dust off your sandy toes as you step over the threshold and enter into your lovely home-from-home, featuring contemporary yet traditional décor, with stylish wooden furnishings and rustic leather sofas, enticing you to enjoy a moment of peace in front of the television, enveloped in the natural light that floods the sociable space.

An amply-equipped kitchen is tucked away in the corner of the room, providing all of the essential amenities required to prepare a heart-warming meal for the group, including a handy dishwasher so there's no arguing over who's doing the washing up.

Serve your culinary delights at the intimate setting of the breakfast bar to enjoy a romantic meal for two, or gather your loved ones at the dining table to recount the days adventures; if you're lucky enough to experience the warmer weather, step through the elegant bifold doors and indulge in a spot of alfresco dining on the balcony, soaking in the panoramic views across the stunning waters in the distance.

As the evening grows darker, prepare for bed with a luxurious seat amongst the bubbles in the tub featured in the contemporary family bathroom before retiring to one of the three thought-fully laid out bedrooms to rest your head, with the choice between two double rooms and a snug twin, each featuring charming nautical artwork, with one of the double rooms benefiting from its own en-suite, perfect for kickstarting your day with an invigorating rinse.

Take a break from doing the cooking and take the short stroll into the centre of Praa Sands to treat your loved ones to a delicious meal at the seaside restaurant, Sandbar, idyllically positioned to provide panoramic views of the ocean and serving fresh local Cornish produce alongside a fabulous selection of cocktails.

After satisfying your appetite, feel the sand between your toes with a leisurely walk on the beautiful beachfront, where you can bask in the suns rays or indulge in an invigorating dip in the waters as they wash up on the shore.

There's a host of walking and cycling routes available from your doorstep, with the South West Coast Path running atop the dramatic cliffs towards the quaint coastal towns and villages that decorate the Cornish coastline, with Porthleven within easy reach, home to a historical harbour and thrilling water sport opportunities.

Further inland there's an abundance of sights and attractions worth visiting, including the striking 17th century National Trust manor of Godolphin House, Guy's Butterfly House and Flambards Theme Park, promising an exciting day out for all the family.

For a memorable staycation in Cornwall, enjoy a break at Praa Cove.

About the location

PRAA SANDS

Marazion 4.5 miles ; Helston 6 miles ; Porthleven 5 miles

The village of Praa Sands sits on the south coast in between Helston and Marazion. Praa Sands is known for its mile-long sandy beach and excellent surfing conditions. There is a bar/restaurant overlooking the beach – the perfect spot for lunch with a view or sunset drinks. Praa Sands is also home to a Golf and Country Club, from where the most wonderful sea vista can be enjoyed whilst you play. Just inland from the beach is Pengersick Castle, the tower of which dates back to the 16th century. It is said that Pengersick is haunted, and that the ghost of a monk has been seen wandering the grounds! The house at Pengersick is rumoured to be the birth place of John Carter, the self styled King of Prussia and a tunnel which leads from the house to the beach was apparently once used by smugglers. There are supermarkets and other retail stores in Penzance (8 miles) and Helston (6 miles).
