  • "We enjoyed our stay very much at the granary house it was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our weeks stay."

.the grounds were absolutely gorgeous and our kids and dog enjoyed very much..we understood it was dog friendly house but was ABIT dissapointed of how many black dog hairs there were everywere (around the bath) bathroom floor and the rug in the lounge. Despite this everything else was absolutely perfect and we would definitely book again thankyou X

  • "We have just returned from a wonderful, relaxing week at The Granary."

I cant recommend highly enough. Secluded and out of the way, set in lovely countryside surroundings, yet within 15 minutes drive of Watergate Nay and Newquay. Rosemary could not have been more helpful, the barn was lovely, we couldn't be happier with our stay, thank you

  • "Lovely little cottage, with a gorgeous garden."

Only downside is it had one bathroom, but that didn't bother us too much as we spent alot of time out at the beach. Overall fantastic stay, very clean and had everything you'd need for a stay away.

  • "Comfortable cottage in a lovely setting."

Probably better suited to two or three people only as the toilet facilities are limited to one bathroom only with no separate lavatory. However we would happily visit again

  • "The Granary is in a lovely calm location in the beautiful Cornish countryside, convenient to visit both the wind-swept surfing beaches of the North coast and the quiet estuaries of Southern Cornwall."

The accomodation is basic and the beds are comfortable. Roserrans farm offers a beautiful garden- just beware it’s not safely enclosed for dogs, so it’s better to keep them on a lead. It was good to be able to use the shared laundry facilities and to have a table and chairs to dine outside.

  • "This Barn conversion was musty and moldy and was not at all clean Lamps didn't work plug sockets were broken the Sofa and armchairs and dining chairs were so dirty the cloth was very dirty when we washed them ."

Then we had a Bee infestation and had to close the windows and all the people did was walk out and take a look no one was called out and we were unable to open the windows. It wasn't until I went and told the Owner I would call out the local council that the lady agreed to give me part of our money back and then kept £80 for washing the sheets for the 3 night stay !!!!!!!

  • "The only issue we had is with the toilet light."

The light turns on a very loud fan. The fan could be heard on the top floor. This could be changed easily or they could add a door to the upstairs to make it more soundproof and private

  • "The cottage was nice, however the seating arrangements were not suitable for six people."

There was seating for 5 when this is a property for 6. There was a random chair that was meant for the 6th person but was not suitable for sitting in after a long day out. In addition when you did have a seat, the sofa and chairs were very uncomfortable. The sofa headrest pushed your head forward. The main door to the property was also passed by other people staying at other adjacent cottages so was not private at all. The door is glass so people were able to look in at you. The shower was also a little poor as the pressure wasn’t very good. Plus points, lovely comfortable beds, new kitchen with dishwasher and lovely gardens and lovely host.

Only a 15 minute journey into Newquay and plenty of places to go to around us. The granary had parking which was amazing and was very nice and peaceful.
