The property

This detached bunglow is nestled on Rosecraddoc Holiday Village, enveloped by manicured grounds and woodlands, near the market town of Liskeard.

Meerkat Cottage is ideal for exploring all that Cornwall, South Devon, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor has to offer, a family-friendly holiday let with a homely feel inside.

Relax and unwind on the plush sofa in the lounge with your favourite programme on TV, make plans at together in the dining room or get out a board game after diner.

A bright and sunny kitchen comes fully equipped for rustling up those home cooked meals.

Two bedrooms; a double and twin, share the bathroom facilities.

Refresh under the shower ahead of an adventure-filled day, or on return indulge in a relaxing soak in the bath tub to soothe any aches and pains.

To the exterior is a lovely patio area, with a barbecue and garden furniture enjoying balmy summer evenings.

Guests have use of the fishing lake adjacent to the property at a small fee, and the village inn serves delicious food and drinks, should you wish to take a break from the cooking for night.

The Looe Valley railway line is nearby, giving you the benefit of exploring Cornwall with ease!

Leave your car behind and instead enjoy the beautiful scenery out of the train window, where wooded valleys meet glorious wildlife, before opening up to estuary views as the river meets the sea.

Discover the many fishing villages in the area, along with fabulous beaches and the famous Eden Project.

Water sports enthusiasts will enjoy Lux Park Leisure Centre and Siblyback Lake, whilst avid walkers will jump at the chance to explore Bodmin Moor.

Fowey, Looe, and Polperro are all nearby with delightful shops, tea rooms, pubs and waterside activities such as crabbing.

There are also many houses and gardens to explore, including The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock House and Cothele.

The historic market town of Liskeard is located in South East Cornwall at the head of the Looe Valley. The town is home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches and harbour of the quaint fishing port of Looe is a mere 9 miles away. In-between there’s fishing at nearby Siblyback Lake, the Donkey Sanctuary at St Ann's Chapel, Cotehele House (NT) and gardens, and the championship golf course at St Mellion International Resort. Head to the world-famous Eden Project for a superb day out with the children. Even the maritime city of Plymouth with its historic Barbican docks area, outstanding shops, theatres and restaurants and the National Maritime Museum is only 30 minutes by car.
