  • "We all had a great time in this quirky cottage that had lovely decor with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and dinning room."

It was a great base for our weekend away. Excellent place.

  • "We loved Trewenna and our time there."

Really well equipped, beds very comfy, lovely linen, plenty of bathrooms. Characterful and spacious but homely. Jo was very thoughtful as a host with a welcome pack and baby cot and things left out for our use if we wanted. Completely enclosed and secure garden for cars and dog. Central location, local shop, lovely village

So nice to hear you enjoyed your stay and that you had everything you needed. Great feedback about the central location, local shop and pub, there really is everything you need in Tregony for a peaceful holiday in Cornwall. Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay, it’s a convenient location to easily access some great beaches and great coastal walks within 10-15 mins drive."

The property is very well kitted out and very homely and lots of clear instructions for everything. The pizza oven was a bonus and we had some lovely pizzas. It’s a great summer house with lovely outside space but it would also be great for a winter stay with a lovely open fireplace. Thanks we loved our stay and will return.

Thank you for your lovely comments and so pleased you used the pizza oven built from Cornish stone. It does make super pizzas! You're right that it is a lovely place to stay in the winter too, very cosy and warm. We have been fortunate to welcome lots of guests in January and February in 2024 already. Property Owner

  • "The house was really lovely."

The kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. It was lovely having our meals in the dining room with the nautical antiques and my daughter loved the snug with Wii and all the games. The sitting room was also very cosy with the log burner and we enjoyed the large screen Smart TV. Bedrooms were also lovely but we felt that the double wooden frame bed needed a new mattress and the frame was uncomfortable to sit in bed. In the smaller double the mattress was stained. There was quite a bit of dust on the lights and fittings. All in all though we had a lovely time in Tregony. The house was very well situated to getting around the Roseland Penisula. We all had a lovely holiday.

Thank you for your lovely feedback, we're glad you made full use of the extensive kitchen facilities, and that your children enjoyed the snug with the games. It's an old house and your stay was was quite long so I would expect a little dust to settle in that time. The house is kept scrupulously clean and well dusted after every changeover. We searched very hard to find a stain on the mattress youmention, and could not find any. We have not had any other complaints about the wooden frame bed mattress, but we have added some cushions to put behind pillows for sitting in bed. It's a balance between hygene and comfort and a wooden headboard is easier to keep clean than a padded fabric headboard. Property Owner

  • "A beautiful house which has been lovingly restored and decorated to a high standard; with so much thought gone in to making it a fantastic place to stay."

3 bedrooms but room for a few more, each having access to their own either enseuit facilities or large bathroom. There's even an extra toilet/ shower room down stairs. The garden is slightly on the smaller side but excellently thought out with the added bonus of a pizza/ bread oven and of course a barbq. Added features with comfortable seating and parasols it was perfect for us with one small dog. On site parking. Location was great for accessing the local tourist places and hidden beaches and coves. fantastic pub across the road if you don't feel like cooking each night; as a shop across the road. One of the sofa's was not the most comfortable seating to watch tv in the evening other than that a fantastic holiday home.

Thank you for your feedback and for leaving our house very tidy. Regarding the sofa, I'm please to let you know we have addressed the issue and on the 19th August we completely replaced the inners of the two base cushions with upholstery-grade memory foam and upholstery-grade wadding. The sofa is now restored to being a super comfortable leather sofa. Hope you may come back sometime to enjoy it :) Kindest regards, Jo Property Owner

  • "What a beautiful property!"

Probably the best equipped holiday home we have ever stayed in. The back garden with its outdoor furniture was a sun trap, the road extremely quiet all we could really hear were the birds and the bells of the clock tower which we loved. We had a problem with the boiler while we were there and the owner got it fixed the same day and it was a Bank Holiday too! Highly recommend!

Thank you for your lovely feedback, would welcome you back again any time. Property Owner

  • "6 adults had a very comfortable week, the house is extremely well equipped and warm."

The food and staff in the Kings Arms across the road are excellent. Lovely area to visit. Our only complaint is that the online description states 2 dogs are welcome, but the instructions at the house insist the dogs stay downstairs, preferably in the kitchen and dining area. This should be made clear before booking.

Hi Simon, thank you for your nice review. I just wanted to correct you that we don’t state that dogs should stay in the kitchen and dining area anywhere. We do prefer that dogs stay downstairs but want our guests and their dogs to feel comfortable at all times, so if they have to go up stairs then that’s ok. We state that we trust our guests to clean up after their dogs Property Owner

Inside, the ground floor hosts a well-equipped kitchen where the chef of the group can show off their skills before moving through to the dining room; this characterful room is complete with colourful, mismatched yet perfectly at home chairs.

Also on the ground floor, you can find an inviting sitting room, complete with a Smart TV and woodburning stove to cosy up in front of.

Allow the children to entertain; the ground-floor snug is home to a wealth of creative materials, including puppets, so the younger members and any budding actors in the family can steal the show.

Upstairs, three traditionally styled bedrooms offer a place to rest your head; a king-size and a double boast en-suite shower rooms for extra privacy, while the twin room offers a truckle, for a flexible sleeping arrangement.

Outside, make the most of the fantastic space, which has a barbecue and pizza oven, along with plenty of furniture so you can dine alfresco while your canine companions play.
