  • "Had an amazing holiday."

The chalet had everything we needed but could do with modernising it, as it was very dated and the beds were very uncomfortable. The fridge could do with being upgraded. Good washing machine very efficient, fab quick wash. Nice shower, constant hot water and very spacious. Overall lovely site and great to sit out on an evening, just needs modernising.

  • "We had A fabulous holiday."

The chalet is a little on the tired side, with a bit of tlc it could be so much better. E.g. decking area and balustrades rotting and damaged. Outdoor chairs look like they’ve been left out all winter covered in green stuff. Outdoor table rusted and with sharp edges. Bathroom grouting and sealant in need of a deep clean. Would have liked a coffee percolator Other than that it was very comfortable, perfect for what we needed great to have an oven and washing machine.

  • "We had a lovely stay in chalet 186."

It was very clean and functional. Everything we needed was there. The washing machine/tumble dryer was not working properly and we couldn't open a couple of the windows due to them being locked. I called Flint property management and they promptly sorted both issues out - they even replaced the washing machine with new! This site is perfectly placed for visiting seven of the most fantastic bays in this area. The only thing i would say is that the bed in the main bedroom could do with a mattress topper/protector as it is a bit on the firm side. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation and am thinking of booking it up for next year as we had a very easy and relaxing stay despite there being stormy weather.

  • "Lovely location."

.clean accommodation. Helpful staff. We are just disappointed that we were not informed that no clubhouse restaurant or entertainment were going to be available which has ruined our holiday a bit. We plan to make the most of our holiday but upset we have to drive for an evening out. And we are not going to be offered any kind of compensation for this.

First time staying in this part of Cornwall and it did not disappoint. The Chalet was very comfortable with everything needed for a self catering holiday. Would definitely consider returning again in the near future!

  • "We didn't get to stay in chalet 186, we were told to go to another one before arrival."

All was good as expected except for the cleaning. Dust and cobwebs were hanging everywhere even next to the bed with visible spiders in all corners. It really was like entering a haunted old house in a Scooby Doo cartoon. Housekeeping team need to get there act together as it has put me off booking again. Nice quiet stay and the club house was very good. Good food, entertainment, dog and kiddie friendly. All in all, we had a nice stay.

  • "Not really Sykes' fault, but we had a water leak in the kitchen area from the water boiler."

Informed Sykes, who then contacted the owner. Leak was fixed more than a day later and we were given alternative accommodation from the service provider the owner uses. This was substandard. We decided to leave on this basis. An hour later (once we were packed and ready to leave) they decided they had other chalets available. Sorry TOO LATE!!! We have not been refunded any of our money for the issues we faced or the days we missed by leaving. Wouldn't use this service again based upon the issues we faced. Use airbnb instead and go direct to the owner when renting.
