“The chalet was very spacious and well equipped, and in a peaceful cul de sac on a development of chalets.”
It was further out in the countryside than I expected but not a problem, as there is a small shop on site, and one a mile away at St Merryn. I don’t have many criticism about it other than the decor is very tired and old fashioned, faded pictures on the walls, silly ornaments around the place, and very hard sofas to sit on, when you have been out all day a comfy seat would have been nice! Everything else was fine, beds were extremely comfortable, loads of wardrobe space. We were a party of three adults, and never felt on top of each other. Good sized garden, but not enclosed so dogs need to be supervised, there is a dog walking field at the entrance to the development. The site was quiet when we were there, mid June, but I expect it gets much busier, as it’s a mix of holiday rentals and residential, and is quite large. All in all a good place, in a good area, and I would return, but only on a late minute deal, as didn’t feel it was worth the full price it’s advertised at, because it needs updating. Hope this helps others.
