  • "Spotlessly clean."

Spacious apartment with everything you need for a family holiday. Lovely quiet location. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We stayed 2 weeks and beds changed and fresh towels provided after the first week. Bottle of milk tea coffee on arrival and lovely cream tea with favourite bottle of wine given to us for staying for 2 weeks. Would highly recommend. Thank you Ian and Dawn.

    K. Thankfully there was only 2 of us staying. The internet connection was very patchy, more out than in. Owners very helpful. The Horse and Groom pub and restaurant did very good affordable food just a short drive away.

  • "Sea View Loft was a nice place to stay for a long weekend."

Very easily found and the location is very good. It was clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. We had expected a hot tub which we found out was removed at the end of October. If you scroll right to the bottom of the listing you will see this mentioned but nowhere else. Some other websites still have lots of photos of hot tub and no mention of it being removed so I feel sorry for you if you booked via one of those sites!

  • "We had a lovely stay at Sea view loft."

We had some fantastic walks through the many public footpaths to the local coves and even along the coastal paths to Penzance one day! Praa sands beach was only a 5 min drive away was one of the best we’ve been to for beauty, cleanliness and the waves!! The owners were very friendly and the accommodation clean and warm and the hot tub was great! We were given a pumpkin to carve and some Halloween decorations which was a lovely touch! We went with friends who stayed in Bluebell barn which we were told by Sykes when we booked that it was on the same site however it was approximately a 15 minute walk away which was okay in distance apart from the very busy A road not having a path all the way which meant we only tried to walk it once. We managed okay with the car for the rest of the stay but just wanted to make people aware of this if they were looking to book these two accommodations with friends / another family group. Overall we would definitely recommend Sea view loft as great base for anyone’s holiday!

Sea view loft was lovely and clean and has everything you need. Would definitely go back. Myself, husband, son age 8 and dog loved every part of our time here.

  • "We had an amazing stay very comfortable accommodation the only issue was the double bed was not really comfortable and the bottom sheet kept coming off as it didn’t fit properly and this disturbed out sleep but not to much we had to complain."

When we revisit the area would differently stay again as it’s a great base location to get around and see the whole area.

  • "Although the Sea View can only be viewed at the top of the outside steps on a clear day, the walks along the cliffs are stunning and the views of St Michael's Mount breathtaking."

The hosts Ian and Dawn are very hospitable and most helpful. The nearby cove and beach at Perranuthnoe is perfect and the facilities there are splendid. The Honesty Box Car Park is refreshing in this day and age. This location is a slightly less commercial part of Cornwall and we had a truly lovely holiday. The home journey traffic was horrendous but we had our memories..

  • "Great location, very quiet yet close to many great places."

Very clean cottage and great to have such a secure garden with lawn. Only drawback was the very small double bed, most properties have king size beds and the hot tub was very very old.

  • "What a fabulous find!"

Lovely family run accommodations in a peaceful setting. Close to all amenities too. Seaview loft was just perfect for us and our dog. It was clean and airy, very comfortable (lovely sofas!) and had all the bits you need for a self catering holiday. The enclosed garden is large and great for the dog and the bonus is the lovely hot tub for a soak after a hard day at the beach. The owners are very friendly and approachable. We would not hesitate to book again. If I had to give one piece of constructive criticism it would be that a double bed is a shock when you’re used to a much larger one

  • "Sea View Loft was everything I expected."

Dawn and Ian the host were a pleasure to meet, and were around if you needed any information. For walkers the South West Coast Path is about a 10 mins walk away from the apartment where you can walk to Porthleven or to Mousehole passing through Marazion to see St Michaels Mount. For beach lovers Praa Sands and Marazion are 10mins drive away. While we were there WiFi was a bit hit and miss but we were told by Ian early there was a problem and it was being sorted ASAP by their suppliers. It was our anniversary week while we were there and the host supervised us with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate, such a lovely touch. The garden was a beautiful Sun trap for most of the day, This apartment was a gem of a place to have found so close to everything in Cornwall.

  • "Not sure I have the words to say just how much we enjoyed our stay in the Sea View Loft."

Beautifully clean, plenty of kitchen utensils crockery glasses etc, well laid out, perfect surroundings, great hot tub, comfy sofas (we never book a cottage with sofas that look rigid and uninviting lol), warm, cosy, fabulous views, coastal walks on your doorstep, central to going everywhere from Port Isaac to The Minack Theatre, The Lizard and beautiful quiet stunning hidden coves, a warm outside dog shower, well kept gardens (dog secure too) and the most lovely kind and helpful of hosts. We will definitely be returning. Bert our bedlington whippet loved it too. Thank you for the best 2 weeks - relaxing Unwinding and forgetting the stresses of the year. Cornwall - we will miss you X

  • "Warm, clean and comfy."

Friendly owners. Very relaxing. We enjoyed it so much we've just rebooked! Suggestion: could be EVEN better if milk/few tea bags were provided after long journey & could be EVEN cosier if there were a couple more lamps in the living area rather than the main ceiling lights. We can't wait to be back again!
