  • "Lovely cottage plenty of space for 7 people."

Garden and location are brilliant. Really close to lovely beaches and coves. The lane leading to it is not too bad as cornish lanes go for passing places. We ate at the coach and horses one evening and all enjoyed our meal. The coop on the main road is very handy for essentials and is open 7 till 11 most days even on Easter Sunday. All of the adults ended up using the ensuite shower as the one downstairs had very low water pressure. Hob and oven are as others have said could do with being replaced. We had to switch the hob off at the wall in order for one of the rings to turn off. Some instructions would be useful for heaters as it was cold when we arrived. Some local info leaflets would be handy for tourist attractions and the local takeaways.

Thank you very much for your review and really glad you enjoyed it: the points are noted and we will look into those things as soon as we can, Kind regards - The Property Owner Property Owner

  • "Lovely holiday home."

Location was amazing for us, with easy access to footpaths, coast paths and the local areas & beaches. Very comfortable beds and very clean property. The property who be enhanced with an upgraded cooker / hob (unable to see the dials as they had bene worn off through use), and some decent garden furniture to make the most of the beautiful gardens. (Although this did not affect our holiday). We are planning to stay again.

  • "Lovely cottage and setting."

Comfortable sofas, beds and good quality linen. The oven was virtually unusable and garden furniture in a sorry state. In the absence of information about bin collection Pure were contacted but never got back to us and an attempt to email them was blocked. Parking would have been extremely tight for two cars.

  • "No King size bed late turning up to open not properly cleaned did not want to clean for the second week no toilet rolls more pillow in a newspaper only one pan Toilet seat very loose and dripping bath tap."

but the worst was the 2 gardens were unusable as there was 34 piles of dog poo disgusting also large part of garden was out of bounds. The dog poo was dangerous for anyone with small children

We were made aware of this problem, and immediately tackled it with both our housekeepers and our gardener. This was outside our control, but sorted as soon as we knew it was a problem. We have put in place systems to ensure this does not happen in the future. Obviously, we are very surprised by the feedback and we apologize for any inconvenience. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay, the cottage is lovely and the garden is wonderful."

We loved the location and the space the cottage allowed us particularly as we had two parents and four teenagers. We loved the footpath down to the cove and think this could be a huge selling point that is not mentioned. Just a few comments to help improve the stay. There is no mention of low ceilings and as most of us were 6ft or over there were lots of head injuries. The kitchen wasn’t great. The oven has no dial information and no guide how to use it. The utensils eg the baking trays, only one fitted the oven. Could also do with more cutlery. The shower in the utility was very low on pressure. The garden was not fully enclosed and no mention of the areas you can’t access. Thankfully our dogs are well behaved but other dogs could jump the gates into the pond. There is also barbed wire and broken metal fencing by the footpath that could injure a dog. Also there are gaps by the gate which dogs could get through when the cows are coming in for milking.

Fabulous location Fabulous house and garden we really had a fantastic time Feed back gor improving things Could do with a shower in the main bathroom up the stairs Could you put a bump protector on the door way from hall to dining room everyone banged their heads on this, especially on arrival and not used to low doorways Overall the property was clean and comfortable although the ensuite shower kept backing up, we had to clean this out it hadn't been cleaned in a while The garden could do with a fence around it to make it fully secure for a dog

  • "Lovely house and beautiful gardens with good quality bedding and towels etc."

Decent outdoor furniture would have been nice as we had glorious weather but nowhere to eat outside, or even sit comfortably. I think some small investment in this would make this house just fantastic.
