Alternatively a delightful walk approximately a mile along the coast will take you to the pretty village of Downderry with a further choice of excellent pubs and restaurants.
Apart from the superb coastal walking a visit to Seaton Valley Countryside Park immediately north of the village is a must.
Home to otters, kingfishers and countless other wildlife the nature trail can be followed for nearly two miles to the village of Hessonford where lunch can be taken at the excellent Copley Arms before the delightful walk back and a relaxing dip in your hot tub.
The ever popular fishing port of Looe can be reached either by car or bus or even by an invigorating hours walk along the coast.

The picturesque working harbours at Looe and Polperro are within an easy driving distance away, and the wonderful stretches of the South West Coast Path in this part of Cornwall take you to rocky coves, dramatic headlands and tales of shipwrecks and smugglers. Further afield is Plymouth, where you will find plenty to see and do, including a marine aquarium, a theatre, large shopping centres and the historic Barbican waterside area.
