  • "Fantastic property, great location and excellent finishing and furnishing."

The only very small finishing touch we could ask for would be a coffee machine, otherwise everything was perfect.

Thank you very much for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated. We are glad you enjoyed staying at Sea Scape. We have taken your suggestion onboard and have now added an espresso machine in addition to the stovetop espresso maker. Property Owner

  • "Mainly excellent."

Just a few small maintenance points: we couldn't turn off the bathroom mirror lights in the en suite and downstairs cloakroom. This wasn't an inconvenience but we thought you ought to know. The bath plug mechanism in the main bathroom didn't work properly making it difficult to empty the bath. There were no tea towels so we had to buy some, and not enough plastic cups for use in the hot tub (we bought some which I think we left in the property). But, as I say, these were very minor points and overall it was a fantastic house.

Many thanks for your feedback. We are really glad you liked Sea Scape and apologise for things being not quite right. We take maintenance very seriously and will rectify these issues now you have brought them to our attention. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful holiday home close to Sennen Cove."

The house is beautiful with high-spec finish and great countryside views. We enjoyed watching the Lands End fireworks from our balcony (I think they're every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer). The hot tub is large and kids loved the garden hammock. It's in a set of six houses so the garden is overlooked by neighbours and sound does travel across the small gardens. Not a big issue for us but if you want complete privacy it may not be for you. The walk to the beach is hard on route back but Sennen is a stunning beach and worth it. Would highly recommend this property.

Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at Sea Scape! Property Owner

  • "Absolutely fabulous!"

A wonderful place - utter luxury. The scones were a lovely touch. Great to have everything we needed on arrival. We loved every minute and we will definitely be visiting again. Lovely touch with the dog bowels and blankets. Great place to walk from and fabulous beaches and places to explore. The only thing that would have been useful would be a clothes rack to dry clothes on. I appreciate there is a washer/dryer but given the warm weather it would have been handy for beach wear & towels, quick washes etc. Thank you for a beautiful holiday.

Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. We are so glad that you enjoyed your week at Sea Scape and hope to see you again! There should've been be a small clothes rack in the main bedroom for towels etc. Don't hesitate to call housekeeping to help with issues when they arise as they attend to problems very quickly. • "We have enjoyed our Easter break."

The place was clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was amazing, however it was only ready the next day as it took time reach comfortable temperature.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay. With regards to the hot tub, it is emptied and cleaned after each visit and unfortunately it takes a while to reheat, so on a Friday it is likely to be cold - but it is most definitely clean! Property Owner

About the location

SENNEN

Land’s End 1 mile; St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
