  • "This is the 3rd time at the cottage and we love it."

But such a shame we can't come again as to put the price up by nearly £1000 pounds extra a week is just way to much. So if you can afford it you will love it. Stunning

  • "Thank you for a really lovely week at 3 Rose Cottages."

The location was just perfect for the beach and the village. We loved the woodland walk up to the village and had some fabulous meals at the Taphouse and Peterville which is literally next door. The house and garden was beautiful and very comfortable. Thank you

  • "3 rose cottage was fabulous."

We had a wonderful week away with our 3 young daughters. Perfect location for the beach and exploring other areas of Cornwall. Lovely walks! Great pubs, serving lovely food in the village all within walking distance. The cottage was beautifully clean and very comfortable. The garden was a wonderful little maze and the children loved playing in it. Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to visit again.

The cottage is beautiful. Very well equipped, beautiful garden, comfortable, spacious and very quiet. Located a short walk from my favourite bakery and near a couple of pubs. I will definitely be returning.

  • "The house and garden is really lovely."

But sadly the cleanliness of the property was not great. This was nothing to do with the owners but the cleaners that are sent their by Sykescottages. Unfortunately we had exactly the same problem when we stayed in another one of the property’s on your list in at agnes. The bathrooms had not been cleaned properly, I believe maybe a very quick go over but not a full clean. Hairs left in the sink and shower. Soap marks not wiped off the shelf above the sink in the en suite and on the shelf by the window in the small bathroom. We cleaned this ourselves. Cups and plates and cutlery had not been checked as some had been out away dirty. Possible mention to the owners, if this has also been mentioned before …The twin bed mattress’s are not the most comfortable… all four people that slept in them, didn’t sleep well. This of course could be just the mattresses those four are used to… can’t please everyone! Apart from that the cottage is lovely and well stocked for everyone’s needs.

  • "This feedback is long overdue as my father and I have been staying here for several years now and call it our home away from home."

A truly fabulous cottage in a magical setting of woodland; perfectly situated between the town and the cove; in the heart of everything; and yet its tranquil surroundings ensure you have the most peaceful stay. The cottage itself is very large and spacious, and well equipped for everything you require...cooking, eating (at the large dining table) or outside on the rear garden terrace when that Cornish sun shines through until early evening; relaxing in the living room with a super TV, DVDs or games; even have a strum on the guitar that resides there (thank you for spurring me on to pick up my own when I returned back to normality!); two fabulous bathrooms upstairs - the en suite particularly grand! And everything else one would want to see - with that all-important parking space, along with a washing machine and clothes airers after coming back from the cove with an array of wet beach-wear.... The hosts pay particular attention to making your stay as comfortable as possible, with milk, bread, and freshly ground coffee for the coffee machine (and a bottle of champagne!) to greet you. Attention to detail is what makes all the difference. And they know exactly how to make you feel welcome. St Agnes itself is a pretty little town with everything you would want within a five minute walk of the cottage. Delicious bakeries; delicatessen; two small but well equipped supermarkets; pharmacy; butchers; and food outlets and pubs to cover all tastes and needs - including a fish and chip shop with generous portions! The cove area also offers eateries and places to sit and watch the world go by.... My particular favourite pastime - taking a coffee down to the cove first thing in the morning to watch the early morning sun appear over the cliff - if you're lucky you may see the odd seal frolicking in the surf! A real treat! Thank you for allowing my father and I a piece of this Cornish heaven. We will return for many years to come.

  • "3 Rose Cottage was beautiful."

When we arrived it was lovely & clean & very well equipped. It was lovely having milk & scones there on arrival. The garden was a lovely relaxing space & very private. If I didn't have my 2 teenage children with me I could quite happily have sat in the garden all week reading my book with the butterflies, bees & occasional dragon fly! The beach was a bit further than I expected but good exercise (especially when walking up the hill on the way back). I have recommended 3 Rose Cottage to my friends.

  • "Lovely cottage at the top of the road leading down to the quay, near the shops of St Agnes and only a 10 minute walk down to the sea."

Comfortable sitting room and well equipped kitchen. Fantastic walking along the coast in either direction from St Agnes. We just want to thank the cleaners who after initially forgetting to leave toilet rolls and tea towels, were very kind to bring them to us together with chocolates and a bottle to apologise! Thank you!

  • "We had a brilliant holiday at 3 Rose Cottage."

The house is perfect for a family holiday. It was beautifully clean when we arrived, and the outside space is perfect for relaxing with the children. Only minutes from the beach and shops and with very high quality offerings from the bakery(s) butchers, cafes and pubs a stones throw from the house will keep you well satisfied for the week. Loads to do at the beach we hired surf boards with breakers surf school which was very easy and accessible and also did the North Coast kayak tour with Koru Kayaking which was outstanding. Next time I’d like to return to do more of the beautiful walks that you can access from St Agnes. All in all a great holiday house in a fab location we definitely hope to return!
