  • "Great apartment in the heart of St Agnes within walking distance to pubs and restaurants."

The apartment was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge dining area. The three bedrooms each have their own bathroom which was so nice. I’d definitely recommend for a nice relaxing holiday.

Thank you for giving us such wonderful feedback. We work hard to make sure everything is perfect, and love it when it's appreciated! Property Owner

  • "A delightful light, bright apartment with everything we could possibly need."

The beds were super comfy, the living/dining was really spacious and the kitchen very well equipped. The bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch, and much appreciated. We didn't summon up the courage to use the coffee maker, which looked wonderful, but it was just too hot for coffee! as even the weather played ball. A big thank you to Nick and Kate, who were extremely helpful via phone calls and emails and sounded like lovely people. We will certainly visit again.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are glad you had such a great time and so pleased you loved our home. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Property Owner

  • "This is a truly exquisite apartment."

The coffee machine was a nice luxury touch for me, bean to coffee every morning. The kitchen was equipped with good quality appliances one would need. The location is fantastic, walking distance to shops and pubs, take away. The beach is walking distance and easy to go down to, but the climb up the hill was a bit tricky for my parent-in-law, they persevered and got there in the end, but the kids had no trouble skipping ahead up the hill. We have done some fantastic walks straight from the accommodation but also explored Cornwall by car as it’s a convenient location within the hours drive to most attractions in Cornwall like the Eden Project. We loved our stay, and had a lovely time, the apartment is spacious and the 3 bathrooms was a bonus and made life easier. The ground floor situation and easy access to all rooms were great for my mother-in-law as she felt safe not to navigate stairs/ steps. This is a very nice place to stay and despite the capricious weather, we had a great holiday.

Thank you so much for such glowing feedback. We are so glad you loved your stay with us. You are welcome back any time! Property Owner

  • "We visited apartment 2 in 2021, and loved it, and decided to visit again, with my daughter, and two grandchildren."

We love St Agnes, all the basic shops one needs, plus restaurants. So many different beaches, and towns easily accessible from St Agnes, plus excellent walks. Trevaunance Cove is lovely when the tide is out, and really sheltered. My grandson will be 16 next year, but I am hoping he might like one more Cornish holiday, next year! I would like to stay in the apartment again. Both visits were so successful. Fingers crossed! Gay Ashford.

We are glad you loved our apartment. You are welcome back any time to complete your hat-trick of successful holidays at Apt One Trearren! Property Owner

Thank you for your comments. All of the relevant information is provided to all guests in an email sent immediately after a courtesy call prior to the holiday. Our housekeeper attended to provide personal assistance to enable TV usage. We strive hard to achieve the 100% positive feedback we often receive, so find the score disappointing. It is ideally situated in the middle of St. Agnes village and is just a 5 minutes walk from convenience stores, pubs and restaurants. The property itself is bright and airy, and is well equipped for a self catering stay. We would not hesitate to rebook this property again.

Was perfect for us ! Definitely worth staying. Just something to bear in mind if it's as hot as it was for us, is to bring shade cover for the garden and couple of fans as the sun hits the rear of the property all day. But seriously don't let that stop you for booking this place ! ❤️❤️

  • "Blinds difficult to operate, bedding seen better days, noise issue from apartment above as the boiler was above the main bedroom and came on at 0600 hrs every morning even though the apartment was unoccupied after our first day there."

......could the boiler have been switched off. But not all negative, the apartment was spacious, comfortable and in a quiet location with ample off road parking.

We are sorry to read any negative feedback as we always strive to receive the 100% positive reviews that we are normally awarded. The ensuite king bedroom will be fitted with new black-out blinds for 2022. Any damaged bedding will be replaced with high thread-count bedding for 2022 (apologies for this but we were totally unware of damage). All towels are new for 2022. It's a pity you didn't mention the boiler at the time; I would have got it turned off for you. Having spoken with the owner above, he has kindly agreed to delay the boiler coming on until 7am. For the record the boiler has never woken me and I am a very light sleeper! Go to the feedback tab to approve/deny this owner response. Property Owner

  • "Location in the centre of the village was great although the property is not visible from the road which made it difficult to find initially."

Trearren is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. All three showers were powerful. Coffee machine a big hit and complimentary coffee beans was a thoughtful gesture as was the charcoal for the BBQ. We were exceptionally fortunate that the weather was hot, hot, hot all week and therefore did not have time to make use of a very good selection of board games, fiction and non fiction books. This property would be our first port of call if we were to holiday in St Agnes again.

Apartment 1 Trearren it's so easy nowadays to book something and be disappointed BUT NOT HERE everything was perfect location is in the heart of the village behind electric gates so no trouble parking the Apartment was spotlessly clean the bedrooms are off a decent size and possibly the comfiest bed I've slept on whilst on holiday bathrooms for every room again spotlessly clean the kitchen has every appliance and the coffee machine was an added bonus a lovely garden for my grandson to play in with no obstacles as well as a decent size patio with furniture to sit and enjoy a picnic and the afternoon sun if your thinking of booking you certainly won't be disappointed

  • "The apartment was immaculately clean and excatly as described."

The kitchen was well-equipped with top-named brands on appliances throughout, the Sage coffee machine was outstanding. The apartment was easy to find and ideally placed for exploring the west of Cornwall, Truro was only a short drive away and access to the A30 was less than 5 minutes. This is the first holiday cottage that we've now decided to re-book after such a delightful experience.

  • "This is a very comfortable home-away -from-home, all very new and clean."

We liked it alot and it was just as described. Our issues were small although temporarily annoying- multiple burned out light bulbs with no spares; how to get the towel bars to heat up and a definite load-size limit in the clothes washer that we learned about by experiencing a tub that wouldn't drain. Also, when medications were accidentally left behind, the rather odd reaction was to lock them in the owner's closet where they could not be retrieved unless the new vacationers were home, which caused a week's delay in returning them to us. Ultimately all these items were resolved, just a little bumpier/stress-inducing than we'd hoped. The village is lovely, so walkable! But be aware that if you want to eat dinner in a local pub on the night of arrival or really any night in August, you must book ahead. We highly recommend!

We asked in the shop and found the recycling in the car park nearby and the rest of the rubbish we put in an unmarked bin which we presume was correct, but it would be easier with some brief information. The frying pan was too small for six people! However, this is really an excellent apartment in a perfect setting and we had a fantastic holiday!

Directions given with the key safe number would have been helpful. The app map located the property at the Railway pub. If we had known it was down the road opposite Taste we could have found it easily which would help after a long drive and in need of a comfort break. Great apartment - will use Sykes again. We are considering going back again next year. However we feel our stay would have been improved if we had a second key for the property, we were a party of 4 adults and 1 child and we like to do different things. Also we feel out door furniture(patio table and chairs) could only improve the experience, we enjoyed Lovely sunny Cornwall weather and would have liked to sit outside to enjoy it. Our only option was to carry indoor furniture outside.
