The accommodation is extremely comfortable and very well presented. This was our third visit and the cottage has been spotlessly clean each time. The location and facilities are ideal for a relaxing holiday with lovely beaches nearby.

  • "Very comfortable, spacious cottage."

Really comfy duck feather and down pillows and duvet. Private, peaceful location yet just a few minutes walk from St Agnes centre. Well-located for visiting various places. Lots of local info and maps available in the cottage. Reliable TV signal and broadband. We had everything that we needed and appreciated the welcome items. The owners are friendly and happy to chat. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Sykes - please put a note in the cottage description to warn that low vehicles might not like the central ridge along the private track from the road to the cottage, and although there is plenty of parking, maybe to bring a car cover to protect car from bird poo from nearby tree.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are pleased you found Oreo’s Cottage to be comfortable and spacious and appreciate your comments. Regarding the road to the cottage, the central ridge mentioned is grassy between tarmac and maintained on a regular basis, therefore, this is more than suitable for most cars with plenty of ground clearance and not at all rough. • "My sister and I, as well as my 'sausage dog' (we heard that at least ten times a day!"

) had a lovely stay in Oreo's Cottage last week. We immediately felt at home because of the warm and tasteful interior. There was really nothing missing. The tranquility around the cottage has also done us good. Except for one stormy day as the wind swept over the roof and past the house, it was completely silent. St. Agnes is a nice base for the many trips and walks we have made. The nearby beaches and the South West Coast Path are really stunning. The restaurants in town are very dog friendly. We had delicious meals there. Jackie and David, thank you so much for our wonderful stay in your holiday home. Jacqueline, Carmen & Jip (from the Netherlands)

Lovely short walk to the shops in St. Agnes: good butchers, bakers, fresh fish (road down to Chapel Porth), veg shop and vegetarian shop. Lovely choice of little informal cafes in St Agnes, Chapel Porth and at the eco park south of Porthtowan. Excellent network of footpaths and other stuff to explore and discover for oneself. Although this probably doesn’t feature in most reviews I loved how the plaster relief artwork in the house carried through to the garage wall! Rare to stay somewhere that isn’t just the most basic furniture / kitchen equipment / decoration etc… Easy walk or drive down to both beaches and all the facilities in St Agnes.

The cottage was beautiful with a fully equipped kitchen and logs to make a fire in the wood burner in the evenings which made the sitting room very comfortable and cosy. The goodies that were left for us were very gratefully received. We know the area very well as we’ve been coming to Cornwall for years and it is perfectly placed for the places we like to visit. A lovely cottage in a brilliant position. A short walk into St Agnes with a selection of shops , pubs and takeaways. Plenty of local walks straight from the cottage including St Agnes Beacon and Wheal Coates tin mining walk. The garden isn't enclosed but that wasn't a problem as there are plenty of fields for walking our dog. St Agnes is a lovely little village that has everything you need, from deli, butchers, gift shop and plenty of places to eat if you don’t fancy cooking one night. Would definitely recommend the Goan fish curry at The Tap House, and The Cornish pizza company. The cottage is a lovely place to stay and has everything you need to make your comfortable. Lovely fields for your four legged friends to stretch their legs, and a great place to come back to and relax after a days exploring. The owners David and Jackie are very welcoming and are at hand if you need them, also the milk, bottle of wine and mint chocolate was a lovely welcome gift on arrival. We would definitely recommend this cottage, for anyone who is wanting a beautiful, quite, relaxing place to stay while visiting Cornwall. It's unique position offers the best of both worlds; a private and peaceful location, as well as the perfect base for exploring.

It lies just a short 5 minute walk from the centre of the popular Cornish village of St Agnes and a one mile walk to nearby Chapel Porth, a fabulous National Trust beach with small cafe.

A little further afield Trevaunance Cove is lifeguarded in the summer months and is a dogs haven as they are welcome all year round.

Perfectly located for a seaside family holiday, this attractive property has two nicely presented bedrooms, one with a double bed and ensuite shower room, and a twin bedded room (with additional pull out bed for a younger child).

In the sitting room, comfy sofas face the woodburning stove to give added cosiness on cooler evenings and off season breaks.

The spacious and airy design make this traditional cottage feel bright and welcoming.

There is also a smart, modern bathroom.

Outside you have your very own private enclosed garden with long views to the sea and countryside beyond.

St Agnes has everything you need in its bustling village centre including a bakery, coffee shops, butchers, greengrocers and newsagents as well as several good pubs and restaurants for eating out including Driftwood Spars voted one of the Top 50 UK pubs.

This area is a spectacular walking region with the Heritage North Coast Path and cliff walks for those wishing to explore on foot.

For a change of scenery, the beaches of Perranporth and Porthtowan are close by and for a day trip to enjoy some retail therapy the city of Truro is under 10 miles.

Oreo's Cottage is perfect for a family holiday wanting a break by the sea or for couples seeking a year-round base to explore this lovely region.
