This comfortable terraced bungalow is located on the beautiful grounds of Honicombe Manor Park, on the outskirts of the small village of Gunnislake in the beautiful Tamar Valley, a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty.

With the wide range of activities and lots of walking and cycling trails right on your doorstep, this charming cottage is ideal for friends and families wishing to explore this lovely part of the country, and ideally located for touring Devon and Cornwall.

All the accommodation is on the one floor, and the bungalow has an open plan living room with kitchen, dining and sitting areas.

There are also three bedrooms, one double and two twin, together with a bathroom with bath, shower over and basin, as well as a separate cloakroom with basin and WC.

The bedrooms are all spacious and are equipped with wardrobe space.

Outside this charming cottage, there is a private patio with furniture where you can relax with a refreshing drink or dine alfresco after a busy day out.

There's also an open, uninterrupted space to the front of the Bungalow providing privacy and a play area for children and set in over 20 acres of rolling countryside Honicombe Manor Park is surrounded by woodland, fields and streams.

There are plenty of facilities onsite for the whole family to enjoy, with access to indoor and outdoor heated pools, sauna, tennis courts and a mini gym.

There is also a restaurant and a bar.

The stunning National Trust property of Cotehele is only a couple of miles away and is a beautiful estate situated along the river Tamar with country house and glorious gardens.

With the excellent Tamar Trail centre close by there is plenty for you and the family to enjoy boasting mountain biking, falconry, tree surfing, zip wires, and scenic nature trails.

Nearby, you could even take a train from Gunnislake to Plymouth which has picturesque views of Tamar Valley throughout the journey.

Once you are there you could visit the National Maritime centre, theatres and historic areas which are all full of eateries.

After a long day exploring, you can return to this cottage and wind down and relax.

Tavistock 5 miles; Plymouth 18 miles.

The small rural village of Gunnislake lies on the steeply wooded banks of the River Tamar. It has village pubs and a small selection of shops. Notably, the village sits at one end of the scenic Tamar Valley Railway - with regular services along the river bank to Plymouth. The area is perfect for exploring Dartmoor, the south and north coast beaches and the attractions of Cornwall’s far west. Close to hand, the Dartmoor town of Tavistock with its pannier market, pubs and restaurants is a must, as well as the popular fishing village of Calstock, renowned for its crafts and festivals, while the Donkey Sanctuary and Cotehele House and Gardens (NT) are just 10 minutes away. Enjoy a round of golf at St Mellion (8 miles), explore the restored Victorian mining village at Morwhellam Quay (4 miles), search for otters and deer along the Tamar Valley footpath, visit the National Trust owned Lydford Gorge, or take a trip to the beach and picturesque harbour at Looe (25 miles) - there’s something for everyone.
