“The apartment was welcoming and fully equipped, with a beautiful seaview.”

Ideal for my young family, with Netflix being a positive. The perfect location for The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Highly recommended.

The property

This is a luxury third floor apartment, accessed by a lift, on the outskirts of the coastal village of Charlestown, on the south coast near St. Austell with sea views from both balconies.

With the beautiful Duporth beach just a few minutes’ walk away down a private gated footpath, this spacious apartment is perfect for a family or two couples wanting luxurious accommodation and to be close to the sea.

The delightful, spacious open plan living area features a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, together with a comfortable seating area and sliding doors opening out onto a second balcony, complete with table and chairs.

Relax here with a refreshing drink and marvel at the outstanding views, before strolling down onto the beach.

The historic village of Charlestown, which was once a small fishing village and is famous for its array of tall ships in the harbour, is a short walk from the apartment, with an excellent pub as well as a fine choice of individual eating places.

Just a short drive from the apartment is St. Austell, one of the largest towns in Cornwall, where you can explore the curves of St Austell Bay, golden with beaches, a haven for watersports and full of interest.

There are excellent pubs, shops and restaurants and easy access to walks on the coastal path.

If you are feeling energetic there are golf courses available at Carlyon Bay and Porthpean and just 20 minutes’ drive away is the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey.
