  • "Cloud Nine is a lovely house, we really enjoyed our stay."

It's in a fabulous location (no need to tackle Daymer Lane in the car!) The house is comfortable, very nicely decorated, plenty of rooms and bathrooms (essential for a happy holiday with teenagers!) A lovely garden and patio, which gets the sun all day. The "playroom" is great for kids to hang out in, and the football table is a great addition. Everything has been carefully thought out and provided eg. 2 fridges, a second TV in the playroom, a lovely slipper bath in the main bedroom en suite. Cloud Nine is one of the best houses we have stayed in. We've been staying in Rock for 40 years and we've tested quite a few! Thank you for a lovely holiday, and we'll hopefully be back next year. Sarah & Martyn Rees

Thank you so much for your feedback! It is lovely to hear that you had such a fantastic stay and could make the most of what Cloud Nine & the local area had to offer. We hope we can welcome you back in the future! - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "A return visit - we love the house and location."

But disappointed that the gate was broken throughout our stay which meant we could not secure the garden for our dog. Notice a difference in the service now that John Bray taken over by Sykes - no longer able to get in contact easily with the local office. There were only 3 teaspoons and no welcome pack which is surprising as house expensive to let. And 9 am is too early a time to check out when you have to strip beds etc.

Thank you for taking the time to provide some feedback and suggestions regarding your stay. We're very sorry that you had to experience these issues during your visit. Regrettably we were unable to fix the gate in time for or during your stay, with any temporary measure resulting in no access in or out of the property. However we fully understand the frustration this would cause you to which we apologise for once more. The welcome packs are retunring in the summer season of 2022 due to COVID-19 starting to drop. Also, we have changed our check out time to 9.30am. We hope we can welcome you back to North Cornwall in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "The property was absolutely stunning."

It had everything we needed and more. Perfect to celebrate Christmas. We were very grateful for the decorated Christmas tree, made it extra special for the children. There was plenty of space for 6 of us and the beds were super comfy and everything was spotless. Great location for long walks on the beach. We had a problem with the hob in the kitchen which we wanted to make sure was sorted for Christmas day dinner. The maintenance guy came and sorted within hours. The problem was user error as it was an induction hob so would recommend some instructions for future guests would be useful. Apart from that everything else was perfect. Will definitely be going back hopefully in the summer with some good weather.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It's great to hear that you had such a fabulous stay at Cloam Cottage. Our location is definitely one of the things we are very proud of about. We would love to welcome you back anytime in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner
