We found Robin fresh and clean on arrival with everything we needed. Great location and very well equipped for a family who cook as well as eat out. We have mastered the heating system now so we very comfortable and not too hot.

  • "Great Property clean and modern."

Two issues the Mattress are not comfortable basically it was more comfortable on the floor in the twin bedroom. Also the check out time 9am most places it's 10am was a rush to get out of the property.

  • "The property had everything we needed for our stay and was close to all the nearby beaches and very close to Padstow."

The only thing that could have been better if there was somewhere to charge our electric toothbrush there were no electrical sockets in the bathroom.

  • "Everything was great, so well equipped and perfect for the dogs, with lots of space and loved how modern it was."

I've left a review on Trust pilot, the only thing I mentioned that was slightly negative was the beds. I don't understand it because the mattresses felt so comfortable when we sat on them but we both ached after sleeping on them. I suspect it was just because they are harder than we are used to. I spelt in the double and one of the singles and had the same experience with both so think it is just the mattress type not being my kind of mattress. Not a major issue because everything else was perfect, thanks so much for providing a great base for us to explore Cornwall.

  • "The ground floor apartment was lovely with everything new including the new build property."

One comment, there were only plates etc for 4 people which meant putting dish washer on after every meal, not very eco friendly. We just hand washed our dishes. Also the "tins" to cook with for the oven were all very rusted up but we covered them with foil. Could do with a pepper and salt. These are only minor niggles as Robin is a lovely very comfortable apartment and very central to visit the surrounding areas.

One very soft bed two very hard beds. A second toilet always helpful. At Issey needs a shop!

  • "Due to the weather not being too great on some days, we were blessed with being able to enjoy a very comfortable, excellent quality place with loads of space to relax in without the need to go out all the time."

If we had booked a hotel we wouldn't have really had this option. This place is tremendous family accommodation, perfectly situated within a few miles of Padstow, Constantine Bay, Harlyn Bay, Wadebridge, and Newquay. We would highly recommend this place and will hopefully return next summer.

  • "It’s a fantastic brand new property with the feel of a show home."

The fixtures and fittings are good quality and we were really comfortable there and had a lovely holiday. However, for it to compete with other properties in the same village that we have stayed at, it needs a few things doing to turn it into a better functioning holiday home such as; guidance for refuse and recycling as there was none; more crockery as 4 plates, dishes and mugs are not enough when using a full size dishwasher; somewhere to dry washing as there is a super washing machine but no washing line or tumble dryer and an outside tap for washing sand off wet suits, boards, feet and dogs! Also it would be useful to state that when taking a dog that the property is not enclosed as we had to be very vigilant if he escaped out of the patio! The fridge too is small and an icebox is not really sufficient for a family. As there were lots of empty cupboards it may be worth replacing one with a freezer instead. So maybe not the right property for our needs as a family but would recommend for couples without children or dogs.

  • "The accommodation was very pleasant and comfortable but there were some basic utensils and facilities lacking which was disappointing."

Examples are there being no colinder, cafetière or spatula/fish slice and the knife rack had missing knives (plus they were all blunt!). The bin lid didn’t fit the bin so was useless! Also no facilities to rinse wetsuits and dry them eg outside taps and hooks. No dressing table or unit in the main bedroom so nowhere to place makeup, hairdryer etc near the mirror. More hooks for towels needed in the bathroom. Also better outdoor lines for drying clothes would be good as the rack provided just falls over if outside but if inside clothing took a long time to dry. The hoover, washing machine and storage was all excellent.
