  • “The floor in the kitchen is wooden so it is not as easy to clean as other materials, unfortunately there was bits in the corners and between some of the boards, the oven is huge and takes a long time to warm up so be prepared, a bit over the top for two people, the beautiful view is blocked a lot of the time by local buses, a problem the owner is trying to rectify, we found it noisy from upstairs at times over the bedroom although we weren’t aware anywhere else, I did find the steps to the bathroom a bit of a challenge but it does state this clearly.”

The apartment is very convenient and the car park is a bonus, the bed is extremely comfortable so a game of two halves really.

About the location

Penzance 6 miles.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!
