  • "Lovely old farmhouse with great secure enclosed garden."

Everything we could possibly need for our stay was provided. Fantastic views from master bedroom of the coast. Only 5 mins walk to the beach and town. We all really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again next year (2022).

  • "Great house, close to beach and town centre."

Plenty of exercise up and down the steep hills but that's part of St Ive's charm. Fantastic having such a lovely garden. House had everything we needed.

  • "The property is well equipped, clean, spacious, and with a quiet secluded back garden."

Having offroad parking is a huge bonus in St Ives. The location makes it easy to get in and out of town in a car, and it's a very short walk to the centre of St Ives. Perfect. The best property we've ever stayed in, and we've been coming to St Ives for many years.

  • "The property is in a great location for access to the town and scenic walks."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ayr Farmhouse, there was 4 adults and one dog. The beds were really comfortable, had all the amenities required giving a home from home feel. Plenty of off road parking and nice garden at the rear. There is a small convenience shop over the road if you need any essentials. Would highly recommend staying at this property, we will definitely return.

  • "Ayr Farmhouse is a fantastic choice for a great holiday at St."

Ives. The best part about the property is the proximity to high street and key beaches. The property is nicely kept, all arrangements are more than adequate. I would recommend Ayr Farmhouse for a group of 6 to 7 people who are looking to find a place close to the town centre, but yet want to keep away from the hustle-bustle.

  • "We all found Ayr Farmhouse very accommodating and ideal for the family stay."

We felt that it was almost too basic and that a few essentials were missing. Mirrors in every bedroom would have been nice. It is very difficult to dry your hair with no mirror and as it is such a big place that only has one indoor bathroom, mirrors are essential. The wardrobes were very poor. No doors in the main bedroom made them look unfinished. In the third room the wardrobes smelt very damp and made the clothes smell. The Kitchen was lacking any space to store dry food stuff, which had to be kept on the counter. A spare cupboard for these essentials would be nice. The Saucepans and Frying Pans were very flimsy and needed replacing. The Sharp knives were very poor and there was no Bread Knife. Too many chairs in the dining room, made it very difficult to walk around maybe the sofa from that room should be removed. Finally, the garden was in need of a good chop back. You were walking through plants to get to the seating. It would have been nice if it had been smartened up a bit for a holiday let. We would definitely stay again as parking in St Ives is very difficult and to be able to leave the cars and walk into St Ives was great.

Thank you for your feedback. We hope to welcome you back in the future. We have replaced the wardrobes in the cottage and the garden is being attended to. We have cleared some more space in the kitchen cupboards for Customers to use. Your comments are very useful to us and we have taken these onboard. Property Owner

A truly stunning farmhouse which keeps hold of its traditional exterior, whilst merging with a modern interior, mixing the best of both worlds.

Being located a stone’s throw from St Ives town centre and the famous coastline, this home is perfect for friends or family looking for a quirky coastal getaway.

Stepping inside of the property, you will discover a living area with a large TV, opposite a dining room with a large woodburning stove and another TV to make the atmosphere homely.

You can cook up a storm in the well-furnished modern kitchen, and if the sun is still shining, relocate to the garden and enjoy an alfresco meal in the outside dining area.

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms that are all equipped with TVs, and the master bedroom holds a super king-size bed with a look-out window that has loungers gazing out to the picturesque coastline of St Ives.

In addition to the alfresco dining area, in the spacious enclosed garden you can use multiple seating spots, plus you will discover a designated sunbathing spot that acts as a sun trap perfect for feeling the sun on your skin.

A shower room can also be found outside, perfect for wondering straight off the sandy beach and rinsing yourself down.

About the location

Penzance 6 miles.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!
