  • "A beautiful, clean and modern kitchen."

Loved the underfloor heating, the space, definitely a cozy oasis from the winds outside. The lounge was intimate and inviting, tranquil spot that was still well connected to the centre of town.

  • "Lovely property and the treats left for arrival were a great touch."

Everything we could hope for was provided. Great beds - which is always important! Great that Cape Cornwall is in easy walking distance and the same for the village which has a great range of shops and places to eat. The Rabbit and Dog and the King's Arms were especially good. The Sykes travel info has driving to the property from the end of the Terrace that your info in the property says is the narrower - it is worth Sykes changing their info as it does make a difference.

  • "Fantastic terrace house."

All necessary gadgets and WiFi. Clean, spacious enough for 6 adults, great location and excellent views from master bedroom. Evenings in the garden where great with the fire pit. Location excellent for beaches etc. 3 pubs serve food in town centre 5 minutes walk. Plenty coastal walks. Handy for buses to Penzance and St Ives. Parking available but tight entry and exit. No good for SUV's. Small cars ok. Free parking on town carpark if you can find a space as its a popular location. Co op, premier and post office as well as Arty shopping. Loved it back in August.

  • "A lovely cottage in a great location."

My wife and I have been coming to St.Just for many years now and this is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. We would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a high quality rental in the area.

  • "A very comfortable, spotlessly clean and attractive cottage."

Plenty of room for 6 (we were 6 adults). Wood burning stove with plenty of kindling, logs and newspapers was very much appreciated and made for lovely cosy evenings (in November). Very high standard of decoration and supplied equipment. Light and bright. A lovely place to stay, a very short walk to the centre of St Just, and plenty of beautiful walks in every direction. The very narrow lane will only accommodate a small car, but parking could be found nearby with no problem. Highly recommend Boslow and we all agree we will definitely come back.

  • "Beautiful property in a lovely location."

My only criticism is that you do need to state in large writing how tight the parking is ! I had no idea until we got there and read the email with the key code on it. We managed but anyone with a big car would struggle.

  • "What an amazing time we've had at Boslow last week."

Beautiful property, full of character very clean and well equipped for our stay with two infants. Very close to most of the places we wanted to visit. As stated before the access to the car park is a bit tricky but once you've done couple of times you get used to it. We could fit one car next to the property but luckily we've managed to park on the main road the other two cars easily. Best wishes, Gabriel G

  • "Only maybe to make it even more clear that the parking access is really only practical for small cars."

It was even difficult to negotiate into the parking space never mind the lane. Could be a major issue with elderly or young families needing to pack/unpack a vehicle. Otherwise a beautiful, comfortable and spacious cottage.

  • "Everything was Great, our contact with the owners was excellent, very well looked after."

The only little gripes we have are ones that have been raised before. The step at the top of the stairs, could be tricky when accessing the bathroom from the two front bedrooms. And the access for parking, two cars is pushing it, if other vehicles are parked at adjacent properties it is difficult to park 1 car. We managed the access with a Jaguar, just, but with practice it became easier. The holiday was great and apart from our little gripes the cottage met our needs, well. Thankyou.

  • "Location was great, the cottage was superb."

However the parking says for 2 cars, the lane is extremely narrow, the difficulty in parking should be more apparent when you book, we had a Ford B-Max which isn't a large car and it was difficult getting through with that. However there is plenty of free parking in St Just.

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed Boslow and that you liked St Just. A lot of roads in Cornwall can be pretty narrow and some of them are a bit difficult to navigate if the vehicle does not have a tight turning circle. Thankfully St Just does provide plenty of more spaces and some wider roads as well. We hope you will visit Cornwall again in the future for more lovely holidays. Property Owner

  • "When I booked my cottage the man who booked it for me was excellent."

He was very helpful and gave great tips on things to see in the area. He explained about the narrow road and also additional parking if my car was too big. It was my first time visiting Cornwall and i will definitely be making this trip again. The cottage was well situated to explore the surrounding areas. I was desperate to light the wood burner but we had lovely weather so it wasn't needed. Lovely cottage well maintained.

  • "Loved the accomodation and location - it's the second time we've stayed there and we'll come back again."

St Just is a nice friendly town with all amenities. It's well located for getting to everywhere in south and west Cornwall. Only small thing I would change about the holiday let is the top step of the stairs. I tripped down it in the dark and I think it would be safer to have the landing level as a triangular top step, thereby filling half of the void of the step recess for those crossing the landing.

  • "It would be a good idea to mention that leaving the windows or doors open will muck up the eco elements of the heating system ( as one of my party did)."

Also tell the customers in ADVANCE that you need to close your wing mirrors in even on a Mini to get down the lane to the parking. I bashed mine on the first attempt. It does mention this in the house book, but of course you are already there by then. A lovely sea view in the morning, I would definitely make a return visit.

"Thanks for your feedback - always gratefully received - and for taking time to talk to me about it when I called. Sorry to hear about your Mini's wing-mirror; the lane is narrow and so the website has now been amended with the dimensions to make guests aware in advance. Regarding the heating, I understand that one of your party left windows open while you went out so the house was colder when you returned and took a while to heat up. The underfloor heating can be a little slow to respond. For more immediate heat we recommend using the log burning stove; there's always a supply of logs and it's as stunningly mesmerising as it is toasty." Property Owner

About the location

ST JUST

Penzance 7.2 miles; St Ives 12.9 miles.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
