It was very convenient location and the owners were helpfull when needed The place was OK but the linen could do with replacing and the cupboard smelt damp and water did not drain quickly. Reviewed by TimSep 2021 "We stayed for a week in this lovely cottage." The photos do not do it justice as we found the accommodation more spacious than expected. The kitchen is well equipped and the cupboards and draws contain all that was required for a comfortable stay. The bathroom facilities are good with a shower providing a powerful amount of water.(unlike some places I have rented) The bed is comfortable and most important the whole cottage is spotlessly clean. The owners living next door provided useful info regarding where to eat and walk extra to the holiday pack left in the cottage. Roskillys local log fired pizza, ice cream and gift shop is a must visit and within walking distance. St.Keverne is ideally located and is a hub for easy visits to the many coastal beaches, harbours and coastal walks. I did not find any issues with the parking as mentioned in other feedbacks and I might add my car is not small, simply reverse in or a three point turn if you chose to drive in .... simples !! Sue and Ralph who own the cottage are very nice and welcoming. Beware that you have to reverse in to get to the cottage. The only downside I found was that I could get no WiFi or internet which make you feel a bit out of it, unable to contact any family if needed to. I know there was no phone signal, but told it had Wi-Fi. Reviewed by MartinMay 2021 "Very nice cottage well looked after by Sue and Ralph it was spotless when we arrived." Reviewed by KeithSep 2019 "Lovely cottage in a lovely location." Reviewed by StephenAug 2019 "The cottage was very clean, neat and tidy." - there were a few minor niggles - reviews stated that the kitchen was exceedingly well equipped, this we slightly disagree with, there is no cafetiere or other coffee making facilities (we had fortunately taken our own) and the kitchen knives in the block could barely be called knives in that are extremely blunt - a blunt knife is not really a knife but a piece of metal. The main light in the bathroom was non-functional, a replacement bulb was in the kitchen cupboard but the tools to change it were not available. The lock on the bathroom door kept falling apart - 30 seconds with an allen key would have solved this. The owners were extremely pleasant and I am sure they would have solved the minor problems quickly had we brought them to their attention. They are minor problems involving inadequate attention to detail. Otherwise a very nice cottage. Reviewed by JohnAug 2019 "Its a great place and location to stay." Ideal for a couple. The only drawback was the erratic wifi signal which is most likely down to the location. Reviewed by StephenAug 2019 "This was such a cosy cottage everything you needed and really peaceful." Owners very friendly and welcoming and helpful re any need.
