  • “Me and my husband stayed here for a week and we had a lovely time.”

The owner was very friendly and provided us with a pint of milk and a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch. The location is fantastic with the Looe line railway station literally at the end of the garden. There isn’t wifi in the lodge but you can get it in the garden, however not having wifi in the lodge wasn’t an issue for us. The lodge itself was clean and had all the facilities you could need and more! The yard was perfect for sitting outside on an evening and having a bbq ...

All in all we had a great stay, we would 100% recommend the lodge to anyone and we will be booking again.

About the property

A lovely, stone-built cottage, formerly a hay barn, situated in the owner's grounds in the peaceful Looe Valley on the outskirts of the Cornish village of St Keyne, 3 miles from Liskeard.

In the heart of the Cornish countryside, surrounded by trees and rolling meadows, Miller's Lodge is the perfect romantic hideaway, offering a cosy open plan living area, an attractive bedroom and a private patio area in which to sit out and relax.

The single track Looe Valley Railway line passes within 100 yards, with the St Keyne Wishing Well a request stop, meaning guests can enjoy a train ride into the picturesque fishing port of Looe or up to the main line at Liskeard and beyond.
