  • "Comfortable and spacious cottage in a beautiful little village, complete with local shop, church and 17th century inn."

The cottage was so well equipped, we wanted for nothing. We didn’t have to travel far to reach the stunning coastal locations of Bude, Port Isaac, Polzeath and Padstow. We truly appreciated all the home comforts when heading back to base after walking the cliffs and countryside of Cornwall. Thank you!

  • "We loved staying at Ripple which felt like a home from home, something unusual to find in a holiday rental in our experience."

Communication from the owner was excellent and we felt thoroughly welcomed and prepared for our stay. The location is excellent with beautiful beaches, peaceful countryside and windswept moors all within a short drive. We particularly enjoyed our visits to nearby Pencarrow House and Prideaux Place. The local pub at the heart of the village is an excellent place to relax and enjoy a chat with the locals or other holidaymakers. I would thoroughly recommend Ripple as a perfect place to enjoy your Cornish holiday and we would definitely like to stay there again in the future.

The house is perfect with a large living room, a well equipped kitchen and dining room and three good sized bedrooms. The properties real selling point is it's location. Located midway between Bodmin and Wadebridge with an array of coastal gems located close by St Mabyn is a wonderful village, that is so peaceful. Can heartily recommend Ripple and would love to stay there again.

One of the most comfortable and well equipped properties we have stayed in. St Mabyn is a very quiet village but has a pub and a small shop. Just a short drive away are so many great places to visit. Love this area of Cornwall.

  • "Very clean and comfortable."

Very good quality furniture and fittings, everything you could possibly need if you decide to self cater. The weather was poor during our stay so we appreciated the comfort. St Mabyn is a small village with a pub, church, shop and friendly residents. Thank you Helen.
