Adequate cooking essentials in kitchen and good quality cups saucers plates etc. However it was lacking, in what I would say, were essentials (see below) 1)Only one mirror in the whole place which was a small one, in which you could see only your face and was in the bathroom. A full length mirror is a necessity, particularly for a woman and there was room to put one in both bedrooms, either on the wall or behind the door. 2) Only one wardrobe in one bedroom and no drawer space. There were shelves in the wardrobe on one side, but it was difficult to access the wardrobe as the door would not fully open unless you squeezed past the first door, tucked yourself towards the window, and opened one door at a time. You could only do this, if you were a child or very slim adult! The second room had drawers, but just a hanging clothes rail. Neither had mirrors. 3) Neither room had a bedside cabinet or surface you could use for a book, lamp or glass, etc next to the bed. 4) Hooks on the backs or the bedroom doors would also have been useful to hang dressing gowns etc. 5) The curtains in all the rooms, were obviously very old and hems were down and hooks missing etc. 6) TV was adequate but poorly sited as it was on a low table, and when you sat in the chair to watch, you actually looked down at it. At the back of it, was a wooden wall and all it needed was to be mounted on the wall at a proper watching height. All of these things are easily remedied at little cost, but would have made such a difference to our stay. There were only two of us and we used a room each, as there was so little space. I dread to think how 4 adults/children would have coped in such a small space.
