  • "Chalet was clean and ready when we arrived."

Everything you need is in the chalet. Only slight negative is signal is quite poor in the chalet. That cannot be helped. Overall very good experience.

  • "Full of spiders and cobwebs all along the ceiling lines, tops of walls and the light fittings."

We arrived really late at night and as we turned on the bedroom light the bulb went (which we know can’t be helped). We called the next morning to inform them about the bulb and that the heater in the living room area was not working. The bulb got fixed that same day but no one came to fix the heating so we were left freezing cold each night as it was the end of October and also because they requested the bathroom window always be left open to help ventilate the property. Mattresses were really uncomfortable. On a positive note the towels were huge, plenty of them and the shower was powerful.

  • "The most uncomfortable mattress we have ever slept on ."

Perfectly adequate kitchen but let down by dirty cutlery stained mugs and no chopping board . After 3 days I lifted up the door mat to shake off some sand and to my horror found a spare key. There were cobwebs in every corner of the ceilings and in the wardrobe. The arms on the sete and chairs were very grubby. No one had swept or hoovered under or behind the lounge furniture in a long time. On the plus side great location bedding and towels supplied were excellent bathroom was clean.

We employ a company to manage the chalets for us and provide clean linen for all our guests. The phone number is in the chalet and should deal with any problems promptly. Unfortunately they have let us down recently and we have had a long discussion with them to ensure there is no repeat, as a result a supervisor has now been employed for the chalets that they are responsible for on this site along with various other measures. The chalets have also been decorated Property Owner

  • "When we got to the chalet it had not been cleaned from the previous occupants."

There were towels, dirty linen and crumbs everywhere. I tried calling the number listed 12 times till someone answered (I had left messages requesting a call), only to be told they had it down as cleaned. I was told I'd get a call back after 5 minutes, half an hour later I rang back to be told they would send a cleaner in about am hour. An hour passed, nothing. This was a Friday, approaching 6pm after we had driven for around 5 hours!! Not acceptable. We were finally moved to another chalet, which had been cleaned (even though we were told there were none available). The new chalet although clean was really uncomfortable, the bed gave myself and partner bad backs, the sofa was like sitting on a flowery floor and the bunk bed was rickety. All in all, not a great experience. Such a shame we spent so much money on it for our daughters first proper UK holiday!
