Two fridges in the property, which was very useful. The shower head fixing needs replacing.

  • "When we got to the chalet it was not as advertised as on the pictures it is 1 double bed and a bunk bed with the bottom bunk being a double, but what was actually in the chalet was 1 double bed and 2 singles, we chose this chalet because we thought we had 2 doubles."

There were hairs on the bed sheets when we got there, the shower was broken and would not stay up high. In the double bedroom there is a bedside table and a table lamp, but you can’t use it because it is not near a plug socket and each room only had one socket which we could live with, but they were not suitably placed for the furniture. There was lots of dirt in the chalet when we got there e.g on the curtains, bed sheets, cob webs and such. It also did not have good ventilation and got really stuffy even with all the windows open 24/7, so I would buy a fan if you are to stop there. The chalet could probably do with a bit of renovation and is a little bit outdated but overall it did its job for us. The park itself was really good, friendly staff, good food and drink and close to lots of different places.

  • "Booked Chalet 209 with yourselves."

Chalet was a bit outdated but we kind of expected that. Originally it was me, my wife and child. But we were told we could take guest's if we wanted to. Received numerous emails from yourselves to confirm. Arrived at site with guest's who had a dog. We were then told that the dog was not allowed on the site and that it had to go. Owner/Manager who was a female told us to take the dog to the local kennel baring in mind it was 1945 on a Friday evening. Luckily we had family staying at another site not far away who took the dog for us. At no point in any of your confirmation emails did it say no dogs allowed. A couple days later the same woman asked my friend in the car park why he looked so upset and he replied that he was still upset about his dog. At this point she said well you should of booked a site that allows for animals and that it wasn't her problem. I then reminded her that it wasn't my friend that booked the Chalet it was me and that in the last few days I had in fact seem numerous dogs on her site. She asked where and when I told her that its not my job to locate them and she's the boss, she can only what I can describe as lost the plot. Was told if I don't "F"ing like it then to "F' off. Considering this is a site owner/boss she was very unprofessional, rude and had zero people/customer service skills. We had booked the Chalet for 7/8 days. We felt that this woman had spoilt the week that much and created such an atmosphere we cut the week short after 4 days. We will definitely not be using this site again and I also feel you should make it a lot clearer for future customers about these sorts of policies. Still disgusted at how this member of staff acted.

  • "The Chalet is small but we expected that."

The bed I used sloped from one side to the other and wasn't very comfortable. Getting enough hot water for a shower was possible, but a bath was out of the question.

  • "We had a fabulous stay in the chalet."

On first arrival we noted the property had been recently painted so different to the pictures we saw online but wasn’t any issue for us. Had everything we needed in the property and beds were comfortable. If I was to give any slight let down it would be the lack of storage, the main bedroom could have done with a bedside table or two to put some bits away but it certainly didn’t ruin our holiday at all. Location of the campsite was amazing being close to Padstow which was really lovely to visit. Firm favourite beach to visit was mother ivy bay, I do recommend visiting if you happen to stay near by, also free parking if you happen to be a national trust member.
