The property

Set in the charming village of St Minver, 2 miles from the highly desirable town of Rock on the north Cornish coast, this attractive period cottage nestles at the end of a row of cottages and next to the ancient 12th century church.

A destination popular with both families and couples who wish to be close to the popular resorts of Rock and Polzeath or those seeking a tranquil base to explore this beautiful coastal region.

The cottage has been thoughtfully restored preserving many character features including a flagstone slate floor and beamed ceilings.

The sitting room is restfully furnished and decorated in pale neutral shades with a delightful window seat, a woodburning stove offering added cosiness for cooler evenings.

There is a separate dining room, warmed by an AGA off season (from October) and neat modern kitchen.

The first floor bedrooms offer versatile sleeping arrangements with a double bedroom and further large bedroom with zip/link twin beds that can be a super-king on request and a further day bed.

Outside relax in the enclosed rear garden and enjoy the far reaching views.

The Fourways Inn offers great pub food and local ales and is a short walk, or for a special occasion Nathan Outlaw’s The Mariners can be found at Rock just over 2 miles.

Popular with sports enthusiasts, yachtsmen and anglers, Rock is a very popular and affluent holiday resort with a fine selection of independent shops and cafes.

Here you can catch the ferry across to Padstow or if you are a keen golfer the links course at St Enodoc is first-class.

For any age a wonderful day out is cycling the Camel Trail, a traffic free trail between Padstow and Bodmin. Cycle hire is available in both towns.

Whether you are seeking a restful base convenient for exploring or a catering free holiday sampling some of the best food and restaurants in the county, Honeysuckle Cottage is the ideal choice.
