Two miles from Pelynt, a detached cottage on two levels situated on the side of a deep valley full of wildlife and flowers.
It has lovely panoramic views and there are woods and a river to explore.
Ideal for carefree family holidays.
Only birds and bees disturb the peace.
There are good river valley and woodland walks from the cottage.
Family donkey and dogs are extremely friendly and happy to accompany you over the owners’ 54 acres (sheep, lambs in spring) which encompass St Nun’s holy well; its waters are reputed to cure insanity and all visitors are supposed to leave a gift of a ‘pin’, in this context a pin of ale for the farmer!
You are welcome to collect eggs (when available) and groom the donkey.
There is an entrance hall leading through to a beamed living room with open fire - logs and coal included - with glazed door to garden; fitted kitchen/dining room and a downstairs toilet.
Stairs up to two bedrooms with lovely valley views – a double with single, and a twin and a family bathroom.
To the side of the cottage is a pretty shrub-filled lawned garden with patio furniture and gas barbecue and superb valley views.
A wonderfully tranquil escape, free from traffic noise and light pollution – great star-gazing.
Why not take a short drive to the ever popular villages of Looe and Polperro, well known for their quaint streets and picturesque harbours.
