  • "What a lovely cottage, I had a great stay."

Comfortable, clean, well appointed and beautifully refurbished, great location, so peaceful and lovely to be able to fall asleep with the sound of the little stream in the background. I hope to be back!

  • "This was our 4th time staying at 3 Newhall Green and we've booked again for next year."

It's a beautiful property and the separate large garden with additional building makes it for us. It is located conveniently to get to Boscastle, Port Isaac and Polzeath beach within 15 minutes drive too. The property is well equipped but Tracy, who looks after the property, is only two doors down and is extremely helpful. Would highly recommend!

  • "We had a wonderful holiday in Newhall Green 3."

The cottage was very well equiped, warm and cozy. We enjoyed relaxing in front of the woodburner after our great walks on the South West Coastpath. Our dog Fiete liked exploring the beautiful Garden opposite the cottage. There also is off street parking. Very komfortable. Thanks very much to Mrs. Kitto who showed us around and was always available.

And the large garden with the stream flowing through and summerhouse are a great asset. Also brilliant to have such a helpful Tracy and her husband living almost next-door!

  • "We had a fabulous stay in this cosy cottage."

The cottage was well equipped with comfortable beds and a fabulous bathroom. The summer house and garden were a big hit with our boys. The garden was a lovely place to relax with the little stream running at the bottom. The extra shower came in handy too after trips to the beach. The towns of Padstow, Rock, Port Issac, Tintagel and the beach at Polzeath all within a short drive away. We would love to return and stay here again.

  • "We absolutely loved every second of our stay in Newhall Green."

The cottage, summer house and garden have so much character and are incredibly well kept. We were lucky enough to have stayed for 2 weeks. Our teenage children (17&14) really enjoyed it too. Within 15-30 minutes there are so many places to visit from good surf beaches to beautiful harbours and towns we found so much to do. Tracey the lady who looks after the cottage was very helpful and we really enjoyed the pick and mix welcome gift that was provided. The gardener gentleman was lovely too and being keen gardeners ourselves could see how well maintained everything was especially the lawn which was a pleasure to walk on. Can’t wait to return!

  • "Beautiful cottage in a really peaceful area."

Well equipped with a luxurious bathroom. The beds are really comfortable. The garden is a lovely place to relax , with a spacious and bright summer house. Only two small points to note. We tried to use the steam room but it wasn't working, which was disappointing. Also, the creaky stairs are quite steep and a bit disconcerting in the dark. Maybe consider a nightlight on the landing?

Hello, thanks for the feedback. The stairs are steep as is common in old cottages (and is mentioned in the description) and there is a stairs ceiling light which illuminates the stairs and landing. This can be switched on/off from either upstairs or downstairs. The steam function (built into the summerhouse shower room) can be a bit erratic, which is why it is not listed in the facilities of the cottage. Guests who discover it are welcome to try it, but it is not an intended amenity. We have added a note in the owners book to make this clear. Property Owner

  • "Out of season stay… The photos do not do justice to this ‘home from home’!"

Friendly but non intrusive caretaker Tracy a few doors away. You will not be disappointed!! Comfortable, well equipped and quiet, moments from a beautiful woodland walk, with a fabulous riverside garden & summer house opposite. Ideally located to explore many beautiful places on the North Cornwall coast. St Teath with pub, butchers, shop and fantastic cafe a very short drive and walkable distance, though down a narrow lane. Highly recommend!!

  • "We have been staying here for a number of years and love the location and particularly the garden room."

But sadly this year the internet didn't work in the garden room so didn't use as much as we normally would.

Thanks for letting us know. On checking this, we found the powerline system (which feeds internet to the garden room) had broken. This has now been replaced (and the cottage's fibre optic package upgraded) so internet in the garden room is restored. Property Owner
