  • "A lovely quirky cottage that has just been renovated and tastefully decorated for letting."

There were/are a few snags to be resolved. Wi-fi is essential at the moment, especially during the pandemic, and this was installed part way through our holiday, this then brought the central heating online. We are not sure that the downstairs bedroom would be good for someone with limited mobility, the en-suite shower room in particular we found tricky to use without spraying the whole room and it then stayed wet all day, the door also needs adjustment to close properly. A freezer would be essential for a larger party planning to eat in and a shower over the bath would also be very useful for a larger group. The owner and housekeeper were very helpful and friendly and quick to respond to any issues. The directions to St Tudy need amending as travel via Camelford from the M5 is much simpler. St Tudy is an ideal base location to explore the area especially once the pub is fully staffed and operating normally.
