It was really well equipped, especially in the kitchen, and the selection of herbs, spices and cooking oils was a big bonus. The house was warm and comfortable, and the hot tub, sauna and games room made our stay extra special.

The house is very spacious yet cosy and is excellently equipped. The sauna, hot tub and games room are a wonderful bonus for young and old. The is also well placed for visiting the beaches on the North and South Coast. Julie, the owner, made us feel very welcome on arrival with scones, cream and all sorts of goodies. There were also beautiful flowers in many of the rooms. She is also on hand should you need anything and nothing is too much trouble.

This old house is comfortable, clean and provides plenty of space of a large group, with all the facilities you would hope for. The pool table, hot tub and sauna were well used on an evening. Good local amenities are within walking distance through neighbouring streets. It provided an excellent base for our holiday.

  • "We are just travelling back from an amazing 4 night family stay at Polstein for New Year."

The pub in the Village is within walking distance and food is really good. There is also a co-op for your shopping essentials. The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the local area. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations, everything was thought about. The rooms were perfectly presented, so bright and decorated so homely. The large lounge area was a comfortable area to chill out in an evening. We spent a large amount of time in the kitchen diner and garden room, the view over the Cornish countryside is breathtaking. The dog friend garden was great for our 2 family dogs to wonder around and the games room kept the teenagers entertained. My 5 year old niece wanted to live there for ever and loved her sleep in the bunk beds. This cottage made our family New Year the perfect break and would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you cannot wait to return

  • "House was lovely."

All rooms were light and airy, comfortable and a real home away from home. The house came with lovely fresh bedding, towels, condiments, lots of crockery and cooking utensils and a huge hamper and fresh flowers around the house. The house has everything you needed to keep everyone happy, a large supply of books and games for all ages. A lovely garden with comfy garden sofas and a sauna. A pleasure to spend a weekend here. We were sorry to leave.
