  • "Really enjoyed our stay at Polstein, we all enjoyed the hot tub, everyone enjoyed the games room."

Cottage was lovely , plenty of room for the 10 of us in the family and the dog could be let out as it was safe and enclosed. Julie was very welcoming on our arrival and some lovely treats in the hamper basket. We only had to contact Julie once with a small issue but she sorted it immediately. Location was good, lot of places to visit with just a short drive.

The weather was a bit mizzly so the hot tub was a welcome hug to come home too. Julie was a great host and was so accommodating to our requests.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Polstein."

Although situated in a (quiet) residential area, the house and large garden were screened by trees and were completely private. Truro was just a few minutes drive away. The house was spacious and really comfortable, and had all the facilities we could have wished for. A special mention of the games room, where we played many games of pool. There was also other equipment including an archery set, table tennis and a badminton set - this were of very good quality. We had several archery games in the big garden. The house is well placed to explore Cornwall in all directions, with only a short drive north to the lovely beach and riding stables at Perranporth. There are limited opportunites for walking from the house itself, so walkers and dog-walkers would have to drive somewhere first - but with the whole of Cornwall to choose from, this is no drawback! Julie was an excellent host, and responded immediately to a couple of queries we had. And thanks for the treats in the welcome hamper!

  • "What an incredible property."

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Very central to Cornwall so we went everywhere we could. We made the most of every aspect, our children loved the huge garden and pool table and the adults loved the hot tub, sauna and also the pool table. Julie is very helpful and was amazing at taking in 2 delivered we had before we reached the property. If anything, I don’t think the photos of the property actually show how incredible every aspect is. We would love to stay again

Thank you for your lovely feedback - makes it all worthwhile and would love to see you again Property Owner

The pub in the Village is within walking distance and food is really good. There is also a co-op for your shopping essentials. The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the local area. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations, everything was thought about. The rooms were perfectly presented, so bright and decorated so homely. The large lounge area was a comfortable area to chill out in an evening. We spent a large amount of time in the kitchen diner and garden room, the view over the Cornish countryside is breathtaking. The dog friend garden was great for our 2 family dogs to wonder around and the games room kept the teenagers entertained. My 5 year old niece wanted to live there for ever and loved her sleep in the bunk beds. This cottage made our family New Year the perfect break and would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you cannot wait to return
