  • "Really enjoyed our stay in the comfortable Trevenna Stables."

We would have preferred to eat at a dining table instead of on high stools at the island unit (being older and one member of the party with reduced mobility) A mirror in the bedrooms for the ladies ( for hair drying etc.) would have been a help. Owners very prompt at responding to any queries or questions. Cottage very clean and high standard of furnishings. Would recommend

Many thanks for your positive feedback, delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We provide a dining table next to the island for that very reason, also useful for very young children. We now have a mirror in the bedroom. We are always pleased to hear ways in which we can improve. Property Owner

The cottage was very clean with a secure garden for the dog to run around. Would recommend. Only negative comment was that it would have been lovely to have met the owners, at a distance of course. We were in contact via text.

  • "Beautiful property that has been perfectly designed for a family of 4."

Decorated perfectly and fitted with everything you could possibly need. Location is in a rural and very quiet area, fantastic for (fairly) local places of interest such as Truro, St Mawes, Falmouth and Lizard to name a few. This cottage was the perfect base for our Cornwall exploration and we couldn’t have made a better choice.

  • "Definitely not the weather !"

However, it was great to have such a warm, well appointed "Stable" to come back to when we had had enough of the rain and gales. This is a delightful property in a beautiful part of Cornwall ~ much quieter and prettier than the North of the County. Good beaches to seek out and good food and drink to be had. We have only once before self catered but The Stables has really converted us to this type of holiday. Many thanks to Caroline and Bob.

Two genuine lovely people , an outstanding property, everything you could wish for with 5 star quality at it’s finest , catering for all needs. Property is spotlessly clean and tidy even the beds are amazingly comfortable , Dog Friendly at its best , gated , fully enclosed lawned field for dogs to run and enjoy all day if you wish just to nothing. Added extras are there with books , games and DVDs , info book about local beaches with Carne sandy beach about 10 mins away great for everyone . We as a family never stay anywhere twice but with Trevenna stables , also has Trevenna Barn next door for extra family or friends , would stay in a heart beat to the point it feels homely ,didn’t want to leave & can’t wait to return . Thanks again for the wonderful stay from the Baxter’s .

  • "Really enjoyed our last minute 3 night stay."

The property was spotless, well maintained with good quality fixtures and fittings. Beds very comfortable with summer weight duvets (which was greatly appreciated) so a good night's sleep was had by all. Secure for the dog to wander in the large lawned area and plenty of room for parking. Outside space is shared with the adjacent property (Trevenna Barn) - there's also an internal interlinking locked door between the kitchen areas of the properties.

  • "Travenna Stables was a perfect base from which to explore Cornwall."

The cottage was extremely well appointed and the standard of cleanliness was higher than at some cottages that don’t accept dogs. It meant that we could relax from the moment we arrived and didn’t have to do a quick clean before we could unpack. The owners were very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. We’d have no hesitation in coming back.

  • "We stayed in Trevenna Stables last year when it was listed with a different agency."

This year we returned, booking Trevenna Barn (982198) along with it as family came with us. The facilities here are top-notch, and the area outside the front of the cottage is completely safe for dogs off-lead (There is a gate that you can shut which makes the area totally enclosed). Another useful aspect of these cottages is if you are booking both out, the connecting doors between the two can be opened up for access all the way through. Help is always at hand if anything goes wrong as well. Perfect for anyone just wanting to relax, but at the same time perfect for anyone wanting to use it as a base to explore Cornwall. Beaches such as Perranporth (Very good for dogs!) are about a 40 minute drive away. I would highly recommend this to anyone and we will most definately be returning.

Superb facilities. Lovely comfy beds. Good quality bedding and towels, a real home from home. My only negative is although there is a 3 seater sofa, albeit a small one and an armchair comfortable seating for 4 adults was a bit tight. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again

Trevenna Stables was very clean and comfortable and extremely well appointed. Everything we could have needed was there. The owners, Bob and Caroline, were really helpful, for example, when I enquired prior to visit whether there was a steamer, Caroline said there was not but then promptly rushed out and bought one! This was a 5 start holiday!
