  • "It was a truly enjoyable stay in a lovely secluded village but close enough to Padstow and surrounding tourist places to enjoy days out."

    Thank you

Thanks for your feedback - like you we find it perfectly situated for both padstow itself and access to all the wonderful beaches and coastal walks nearby. We hope you will return if visiting this area of outstanding natural beauty again Property Owner

  • "The only thing I would put in your advert for Prysken would be to mention that there are no pavements out side, and that you are straight onto a main road."

Thanks for your excellent feedback score and we will certainly look at improving the narrative in the listing. Our guests generally find that walking towards padstow (or the lovely walk to Trevone beach via the farm shop and country lanes over the top of the fields) is not a problem for adults or older children to negotiate the 200m or so segment of road where there is no pavement. We will also endeavour to include more written information in the lodge to guide guests to those preferred routes Property Owner

  • "For price expected things to work."

Entrance gate broken, bathroom extractor not working, cooker extractor/light not working. Light switch for dining area and bedroom unable to reach on the ceiling! Dishwasher tablets don't dissolve end up on base of machine. Unable to Hoover carpets to a good standard on leaving suction bad. These things should be checked on a regular basis. However the chalet was clean. Bed comfortable with good linen. Seating area comfy with a good TV. Kitchen clean well equipped. A teapot, dustpan and brush, and a clothes airer would be useful additions We did love the area and had a lovely time.

We note that your overall feedback score is very much out of keeping with other feedback that Prysken has received both before and after your stay. Very sorry that some items failed to meet your expectations, but glad to see that you still had a lovely time. We have checked the items you mentioned and were unable to replicate the electrical issues you stated. We have however repaired the entrance gate and will include some of the additional items you have suggested would be useful - so thank you very much for your constructive feedback. Property Owner

The property

This single storey lodge lies in the hamlet of Treator close to the fishing port of Padstow, just a short distance from Cornwall’s picturesque coastline. Presented to a lovely standard, Prysken is a charming base for couples eager to uncover the beauty of this Cornish destination. Internally, the open-plan living space will welcome you after a day of exploring, hosting a woodburning stove to curl up beside, along with a plush leather sofa and TV for enjoying your daily catchup. The kitchen offers a sleek setup to prepare home-cooked meals, finished with glossy white units and a lime green splashback, plus a host of appliances to ensure you are well-equipped throughout your stay. Once you tire, head to the double bedroom to catch some rest, served by a bathroom with bath and shower over, so you can choose how to prepare for the day. To the outside is a decked area where alfresco dining is recommended, or simply kick back with a favourite drink in hand. Prysken is a homely abode for couples looking to getaway from it all. Note: Prysken can currently only be booked with Woodlands Close (1079096), - together they would accommodate 10 adults.

Woodlands Close and Prysken can together also be booked with Gwedhen (1080137) giving a potential maximum of 12 guests.

Gwedhen may be booked separately by other guests, having its own separate area of garden and decking.

Taking all three properties ensures exclusive use of the entire property for those desiring complete privacy for larger groups.

We are pleased to offer a 50 percent discount on the Gwedhen price (subject to availability) for any party taking all three properties (offer must be requested within 7 days of the original Woodlands Close booking).

Woodlands has a large garden, Prysken a small decked area and Gwedhen a small garden and decked area. All have distant sea views over rolling hills and have ample parking on the shared spacious gravel drive. Of the three properties, Woodlands Close is pet-friendly.
